Super friendly staff. Manager, Russell was very accommodating and helpful. Love this venue and hope to be able to use it again in the future.

First off, Russell at the Mezz is fantastic! He was completely honest, open, responsive and personal throughout the booking and set up process. He knew Covid protocol and procedures making sure we felt safe and that the guests were comfortable. We had the ceremony in the Abbey and it was lovely. Russ allowed us plenty of time to set up and decorate before the event. He made us aware of all the options and situations that could occur. It was a real pleasure to work with him and his team. We got the premium open bar which was a great choice. The bartenders and staff did a great job and treated everyone quickly and respectfully. The Mezz was beautiful and with their amazing light pillars you really don't need too much decorations. We had full control of the options and layout. They did an absolutely incredible job making this wedding the best it could be! 10/10 one of the best venues and services in downtown Orlando.

We had our ceremony at The Abbey and reception at The MEZZ. After the catastrophe of our originally booked venue, Orchid Garden, canceling on us less than 6 months before our wedding date, we had to scramble to find another venue near by as other things were already booked. We wanted a unique venue and when we met with Alex the first time, we knew this would be a great choice. He was so kind, professional, and understanding. Meetings and communication were a breeze. When it came to the even itself, everything was absolutely perfect! Both venues looked beautiful and Alex and his staff were so helpful through the entire event. If you are looking for a unique, indoor venue steps away from Lake Eola, look no further.

Alex and his crew were instrumental in making our day a success! Sitting down with him helped us realize so many holes we had in our plan. He pays attention to detail and really takes care of everything! Our DJ loved how easy it was to hook in and out. Our decorator has this venue on his preferred locations and I see why.

When we started looking for venues for our wedding, someone recommended The Mezz/Abbey to us. When we went to take a tour we knew that we had found our venue, it was the perfect spot. Alex, the Event Director was amazing from start to end, he worked with the times that we needed to come back and take another walkthrough of the venue and on our final meeting before our wedding. The view from the Mezz is amazing and the lighting is awesome as well, they were able to set the lights to a color that I chose. We has our ceremony in The Abbey and the space was awesome as well, we were able to customize the marquee outside and also use the picture frames on the outside and in the bathrooms with our pictures in them. I loved that we were able to be up on the stage and have that feeling of being in our own special play. And it also went well with my dress, since I had a huge ballgown dress with a cathedral train and veil it fit right in with the theatrics of it all. I also liked that we did not have to have our guests drive to a different venue for the reception. I will highly recommend The Abbey/Mezz for your special day, both areas was very spacious, my guest count was 175 (although only about 145 people showed), the staff was very friendly and helpful and both places have their very own unique look to it and is beautiful. All in all, my wedding day was amazing.

Working with Alex Tirado was a great experience. He was kind and accommodating. Whatever was asked he did with a smile on his face including moving furniture across the room, personally, multiple times to make sure the vision and flow was met. Looking forward to working with Alex and The Mezz in the future.

The Mezz and Abbey was freaking awesome Lori was awesome! If you are looking for a venue I highly recommmed checking this place out of not the first place definitely put it on the list. You will not be disappointed!

We were aiming for a modern, less traditional space for our black-tie wedding---and we certainly found that in The Mezz!

We got married in The Abbey downstairs. Thanks to their expert up-lighting, our photos look magical: soft lighting framing the aisle, and a pinkish/purple hue towards the back of the stage made my white dress and black, sequined bridesmaids' dresses POP.

It was a seamless transition to happy hour, on the other side of the curtain behind the carefully-placed chiavari chairs. We had about 120 guests; they fit perfectly in the room without feeling packed.

When it was time for the reception, everyone funneled upstairs via the elevator. Our guests loved the signature drinks waiting for them, and the layout of the room. The gorgeous up-lighting set the mood. It was so cool that it could change throughout the night! The drinks were continuously flowing and the dance floor remained packed.

We also loved the multimedia options. We threw up photos and videos. Even the best man -- who flew in from England -- surprised us with a slideshow of hysterical photos and touching videos. The Mezz helped him to coordinate that, and it was something our guests say they will always remember.

Finally, from the moment we met Lori, we loved her. She was eager to help and extremely competent. She guided us through the planning with ease. I especially appreciated Lori hosting our week-out meeting with our caterer and day-of planner. If you're looking for something upscale, without being stuffy, and a venue you can totally make your own, this is a wonderful option. Thank you, Lori!
