We recently held our wedding reception at The Lobster House, and it was an incredible experience. I would highly recommend it for dinner, group events, and special events like our fantastic wedding reception. It offered great value compared to other downtown venues, while providing a more comfortable atmosphere, better food, and a superior view.

The upstairs event space had plenty of room for our party of 60, easily accommodating a dance floor, food and cake tables, and a bar with room to spare. We could have easily fit a larger party. One of the best features is the privacy; thanks to the building's layout, you can't hear the busy restaurant or bar areas at all from the private room. The nighttime view of the marina is truly romantic and was just as we hoped it would be.

Our venue manager, Sarah, was incredibly helpful with our requests and made the organization, decorating, and clean-up a breeze. We look forward to visiting for dinner the next time we are in town!

What a beautiful and iconic place to have a wedding. Everyone loved it, many telling me it’s the best wedding they’d been to. I loved all the pictures we got there, of course being in cape may we were also able to take most of our pictures in town and then stylishly arrive by boat making for quite an entrance. You can order as much food or as little as you’d like, same with bringing decor, and I brought a truckload. Sarah and the staff set it all up exactly how I wanted and communicated awesome the entire time. The whole day went by flawlessly thanks to her. Hands down the best place you can get and one of the cheapest in CM so worth it.

The food was absolutely delicious, and our guests couldn't stop raving about it! A special shoutout to Sarah, the event coordinator, who was nothing short of spectacular. She answered all our questions without any hesitation, making the planning process stress-free.

The lobster house was a wonderful venue for our small, intimate happily ever after celebration. We planned to have our ceremony followed by a cocktail hour on the pier and then a dinner in the upstairs room. However, due to the weather and severe storm we had to move everything indoors. The event coordinator, Sarah was absolutely amazing every step of the way! She was very responsive to my emails leading up to our special day and very helpful and accommodating when we had to make changes due to the weather. The entire staff were hard working, friendly and happy to be there working during our celebration! All of our guests had the best things to say about the food that was served, the service, the venue and the overall atmosphere and vibe. I was so impressed with how beautiful everything turned out.

We hosted our wedding welcome event at the Lobster House in the dock and it was perfect!! They arranged rentals of tents tables and chairs and hosted a cocktail style event for 90 of our wedding guests. Sarah and her team were great to work with and made our event an amazing success!
