Leading up to our wedding, we knew we wanted as beautiful of photos as possible to always look back on our special day (who doesn't). Our wedding took place at a historic canal town, which Chris actually had shot at before. He was extremely professional out of the gate, very helpful in what we could do to help him out as the wedding approached for our tasks, and then it became the day of. This is where all of our planning and hopes for a perfect day quickly went from a dream to actuality. It felt like on our wedding day the only thing important to him was capturing our special day. I don't just mean capture it in photos, but also capture our emotion, feelings, experience that now we can relive over and over again. He paid extremely close attention to any little details we mentioned and took more photos than we ever thought were possible! As we walked around the venue for the different buildings we wanted in the backdrop for first look and bridal party shots, he knew exactly the positions, angles, and where to actually stand to make everything beyond stunning. During the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and all other times he was never in the way (I honestly didn't even notice him) but somehow seemed to capture everything. Then let's get to after the wedding... to say these are the most beautiful photos we have ever seen is a far understatement. Yes, we were looking forward to them and they are our special day...but what we are saying is that nothing with Chris could have gone any better. To be able to look through them, cry all over again, and know the decision we made having Chris be our photographer is something we will be forever grateful for. As we went through them (several times now) the emotion, experience, and feelings all flood back. Leading up to a day like this you always hope for everything to go as planned, and if it works out mostly to plan then that's pretty great. But after the first few snaps of the camera, we knew Chris was going to blow it out of the water and now seeing the photos that is confirmed. Do as you wish of course, but please know by having Chris at our wedding he truly captured every single thing that made the day so special. Chris, thank you times a million.
