Our wedding was an absolute dream from start to finish! First of all, Richard was a breeze to work with. He had everything covered, from the flowers, the cake, the DJ, the table decorations, and every little detail you could imagine. He supplied cake cutters, special Mr. and Mrs. champagne glasses, the gift card box, photos of my husband and I placed all over the venue, too many amazing details to list. It was all so spectacular! Richard kept everything moving the day of the wedding, he isn't just the planner, he is also there to ensure that everything is perfect, and everything happens on time. He made sure we ate, and even saved us a box of food to have later. Speaking of the food, it was so delicious! We decided on heavy horderves, and everything came out so fresh and tasty. Plus, the huge charcuterie board was fantastic. The venue (mansion) is breathtaking. There were endless beautiful areas for photo ops inside and out. The decorations inside remind me of a French New Orleans style mansion or an insane boutique hotel, with incredible antique furnishings and gorgeous paintings. The grounds outside are lush with well kept gardens. It felt like a destination wedding when taking photos outside! My favorite part was that we rented all the rooms Fri-Sun for ourselves and our wedding party. Meaning we all got to stay together and celebrate Friday night before the wedding and again Saturday night after the wedding. We made so many amazing memories in that house which will stay with us forever! Not the mention, a delicious breakfast was made for everyone both Saturday and Sunday morning, and we all slept like babies in the most comfortable beds! The rooms are decorated beautifully, and the Bridal Suite is massive with plenty of space for the brides and bridesmaids to get ready. Lastly, Richard's DJ was awesome. He listened to me and played everything I asked him to. We were all dancing the entire reception! Again, our wedding weekend was such a dream come true! It wasn't just a day, the whole weekend was magical!

We had our wedding on May 17 2025 and haven’t stopped talking about how perfect it was. This historical venue was beautifully decorated, the garden is perfect for outdoor events and there’s so many unique photo opportunities all over the property. We planned this wedding from about 6 hours away and Richard made it so easy. I was thrilled to have found an inclusive venue with great reviews, but I found so much more. We found the best bed and breakfast on the island, an incredible wedding experience, and the perfect place for a weekend getaway.

The Lasker made my husband and I’s wedding day PERFECT. Richard is fabulous and so easy to work with. He and his staff made my vision come to life from the smallest to the biggest details! They really went above and beyond with every single aspect. I would HIGHLY recommend staying at The Lasker for your whole wedding weekend! My grooms family, my family, and my whole bridal party stayed the whole weekend and it was absolutely amazing. Richard and his staff took such good care of all of us and made us feel like we were right at home! I could not recommend The Lasker enough!!

Perfect historical estate with attention to detail. Our daughter had a beautiful outdoor wedding and an incredible reception indoors with phenomenal food, dancing, music and service. Richard, the host and day of coordinator, is the BEST! The food was super and our guests couldn’t stop raving about the wonderfully prepared meals, fabulous suites and the gorgeous atmosphere. Richard Connor, the venue manager and day-of coordinator, deserves every accolade and more. His professionalism was truly top-notch, but what truly sets him apart is his warm, welcoming personality and unwavering attention to detail. From the very beginning, he made us feel like family, and his care and support throughout the planning process and on the day of our wedding were nothing short of extraordinary. He ensured that every aspect of our wedding was seamless and that our vision was realized beyond our wildest dreams.

And let me take a moment to rave about our DJ, Joseph Fusilier. He was simply outstanding! Joseph not only kept the dance floor lively and energetic throughout the night but also took the time to listen to our specific music preferences and the requests of our guests. He truly added the perfect soundtrack to our celebration. Joseph even graced us with his incredible vocal talents, singing our last song of the night, which was an unforgettable, emotional moment that left everyone in awe.

The entire staff at the Lasker Inn was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived until the time we left, we were treated with the utmost care and attention. We had the venue for the whole weekend, and it was worth every moment. The historical charm of the house provided a unique and elegant backdrop for our wedding, and the amenities were impeccable.

Special mention must go to the talented cook, Logan. His culinary skills were nothing short of extraordinary. He prepared a special breakfast every morning of our stay, and each dish was a culinary masterpiece. The attention to detail and the quality of the food truly added a special touch to our wedding weekend.

If you want to have the perfect wedding, have it at the Lasker with Richard in charge. I kept having people ask me "Are you stressed about the wedding?" and I could easily and honestly answer "No" because Richard makes the process as simple for brides as it is possible to make it. Once you choose the Lasker as your venue, Richard has the cake, venue, meals, DJ, and flowers already taken care of and a list of vendors you can use for anything else. And they are all exceptional. Furthermore, the venue makes it possible that you and your family/wedding party can stay on site, which is a wonderful perk. We even had a last minute rain storm on the day of the wedding, and Richard seamlessly transitioned the ceremony from outdoor to indoor. Rather than a major stressor, it turned into a beautiful part of the day as we got married in the chapel with the sound of thunder and the gentle tapping of rain in the background. I got to enjoy the most beautiful day marrying the love of my life surrounded by my favorite people at the most gorgeous venue and I truly got to enjoy with no stress because of Richard and the Lasker. I will forever be grateful. Shoutout to Cakes by Jula, Joseph Fusilier, and Jessica Pledger for our cake, music, and photography. They were all phenomenal.

The Lasker Inn and Richard Conner are the absolute BEST! Our daughter's wedding was a flawless, seamless continuum of perfection thanks to Richard and his amazing staff. What Richard does is truly poetry in motion! Richard orchestrated the rehearsal dinner in a way that validated everyone. On the wedding day, a storm blew in just before the wedding was to begin, and Richard transitioned quickly and perfectly to an indoor event. Richard removed all of the stress and provided peace to all of us because we knew that he would handle everything perfectly - and he did! From the venue to the flowers to the meal, there is nothing we would change. This wedding weekend will always be remembered as perfection! Thank you, Richard, for making this special time so memorable for all of us. We love you!

If I could give 10 stars I could. As soon as we walked in to The Lasker we knew it was the place we was going to get married! It was all inclusive, which was a BIG DEAL to us. I am good with a vision- but need assistance with execution. I gave Richard my colors, the food we wanted, some signature drinks, and boom we had a wedding. Richard made the planning process seamless and him and his wonderful team made our day perfect! The food was amazing, the staff made sure all our guests were taken care of, and Richard ensure that every piece of the puzzle was perfectly in place. Biggest win for us is that we were also able to have the rooms added to the package for our bridal party to stay at. This Made it super easy and safe for everyone to stay on site. We also were able to add a rehearsal/welcome dinner the evening prior and send off breakfast on Sunday for guests staying nearby. I know we will be back to the Lasker to celebrate our anniversary if not before!

From our first visit to the last goodbye our wedding was nothing shy of a Hallmark movie and dreamy happily ever after fairytale! Richard and his staff went beyond a typical wedding planner and venue. I never knew they were there yet they rarely left my side. From orchestrating every detail to ensuring our needs and happiness were met, the service was phenomenal. We rented the entire mansion for the weekend and we highly recommend it. It gave us an opportunity to spend quality time with our family and friends. The gourmet breakfasts were beyond amazing. The staff incredible. If you are looking to make your childhood dreams a reality, then this is it!

We had such a wonderful stay at the Lasker Inn for my brother’s wedding. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and have ample accommodations for guests. The building itself is absolutely beautiful and the decor takes you back in time. Richard Conner and his staff were fabulous hosts. They constantly went out of their way to ensure my son’s food was Gluten Free given his Celiac needs. The food was delicious, there wasn’t a single dish that wasn’t superb. We loved waking up to a gourmet breakfast each morning. The wedding itself was set up so nicely. The Lasker Inn staff thought of every detail, creating a beautiful and memorable event for everyone. Due to the weather, we were forced to have the ceremony indoors. The staff worked hard to create a beautiful space for the ceremony and quickly converted the same space to a dining room for the reception while we enjoyed lite bites and cocktails in the parlor. Dinner was amazing and the service to 55 people was organized and seamless. Overall, we had a wonderful wedding and stay experience and cannot over emphasize the friendliness and quality of service!
