We loved The Journey Home because we were able to spend the night in the house the night before, and my parents stayed the night after as well. It made it so convenient to be right on site, especially while we stayed up late and got up early getting everything prepared. Tara was so helpful, she even helped us unload our cars of decorations and food when we got there to set up. It was pretty cold that day, but with patio heaters, it wasn’t so bad.
They don’t have required vendors, so we were able to provide our own food and everything, which was very convenient. The venue is gorgeous, too.

The Journey Home is beautiful and very accommodating! The property has several options for ceremony and reception sites, with the option to stay the entire weekend (great for out of town family and bridal party members)!! The management is great to work with and will go to great lengths to achieve what the client is looking for. I would recommend The Journey Home to anyone looking for a wedding venue!

Our wedding at The Journey Home was perfect! We were able to rent the grounds for the whole weekend and have our bridal party stay in the house. We were able to set up the day before to make the wedding day have as little stress as possible. Cindy (manager) was so supportive and accommodating! Our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful the house, barn, and overall area was. It was better than what we dreamed of!

Cindy and the Journey Home were such a blessing to find! We loved the location, house, and view of the land around it. We stayed the night before the wedding and had our rehearsal dinner at the venue. All our guests loved the wedding and we received so many compliments of how beautiful the wedding turned out. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed working with the Journey Home during the planning process!

This venue is absolutely beautiful and I have received so many compliments from our wedding. Cindy that runs The Journey Home is a wonderful, caring and helpful person. The home that sits on the property is stunning and very accommodating, we had our wedding party of 20+ people staying at the home and it was wonderful quality time spent together. It was important to me to have somewhere that everyone could be at the same time and hang out throughout the weekend of the wedding and I didn't want to spend a lot of time moving in between locations for getting ready, taking pictures, the ceremony and reception. We did it all in one place and it was so beautiful. The flexibility of the venue is what makes such a difference. So many places are so strict and that is what made me choose The Journey Home.

The Journey Home is an absolutely amazing venue. It was the best decision we made in our wedding planning. The house, land and barn are indescribably gorgeous. It was so great to have the people we love with us all weekend and the staff at the Journey Home are spectacular. Laura was the most wonderful host, ensuring we had everything we needed, assisting to make everything run smoothly and doing what she could to make sure everyone was having a great time. I would love to go back to the Journey Home and highly recommend it to anyone planning a country wedding.

Laura is the greatest! She was soooo helpful preparing for the wedding and the day of. She made the process as smooth as possible and put me completely at ease. The journey home was absolutely beautiful with very little decorating and everyone said they thought the location was perfect. I can't imagine having my wedding anywhere else>

Our guests just raved about the setting - beautiful home and landscaping! The barn was the perfect place for a casual but elegant reception for our 180 guests - even room for dancing! And even more importantly, Laura was quite exceptional in managing all of the activities making sure our family totally enjoyed the experience. She is professional but yet so warm - felt like she was part of the family. I would definitely recommend The Journey Home for any event!

Brian and I hosted our wedding and reception at The Journey Home it was amazing. From the moment we met Laura, she made us feel like we were part of her family. No matter what we needed Laura made it happen. She gave recommendations on vendors, ideas on different things and even was the officiant for our ceremony. She went above and beyond all our expectations. She helped make our dreams come true.

The venue it self is beautiful. We used their house for the rehearsal and a few of us stayed overnight, They have really made the house feel as if we were in our own homes which was nice. It was great to unwind from all the planning and get ready for the big day. Our ceremony was in the field between the house and the barn. The grounds were perfect and our pictures are beautiful. Then for the reception we moved to the barn. We easily had almost 200 guest inside with plenty of room of a large dance floor, catering, a bar and DJ.

I cant say enough about The Journey Home. You will not be disappointed. The venue is amazing and Laura is the greatest person to work with! 5 stars is not a high enough rating for how happy we were with them.

The Journey Home was absolutely amazing and totally worth the money! From the start, the vendor was very helpful and great to work with. The venue itself is so beautiful! The barn was perfect for our reception and we were even able to fit all 260 people comfortably, with only having to place an extension tent on the back for the food. Our guests kept complementing on the beauty of the venue and even our photographer was impressed with how great the venue was. I was very pleased with how everything turned out and can honestly say I wouldn't change a thing about it!:)
