I'd like to start off by saying that Willie and his team at Eight4Nine are absolutely AMAZING! We chose them as our caterer for our wedding in Palm Springs and they did not disappoint. They went above and beyond our expectations as a caterer. Their team comes in to set up their station, the guests tables, the bar, and they leave your venue spotless by the end of the night, you don't even notice they're there. Our guests could not stop raving about how delicious the food was, with a lot of them saying it was the best food they've had at a wedding, they've never felt so well fed at a wedding, and how great the servers were. The servers came out every minute with a fresh plate of hor d'oeuvres during cocktail hour. The servers and bartenders were attentive and hospitable. The plating of the dishes, setting up and laying out the tables, the bar, the charcuterie spread, the plateware, silverware, drinkware ... they provide everything. They are so professional, and they made our wedding absolutely elegant. What made it even more special was the guest appearance of Mr. Willie Rhine himself. You can tell that he takes pride in his service and commitment to his customers. He answered any questions I had throughout the whole planning process. When you book with Eight4Nine not only do you get catering, but they become a part of your whole wedding planning. My husband and I cannot praise them enough. The Javier helped us with our food tasting and everything we had was so good it made it hard to choose our menu. We highly recommend them for your wedding or even dining in at the restaurant. It's a beautiful space with a unique modern touch, and the food is mouthwatering delicious.

I’ve spent a lot of my life looking at structures and solutions, but what happened at Jackalope Ranch for our wedding wasn't about the architecture of a building—it was about the architecture of a soul-level experience. ​We came into this day looking for something authentic and grounded, and what we found was a crew that didn't just "work" an event; they cared for us like family. Amidst record, unseasonably hot weather that could have easily derailed the outdoor spirit of the day, the staff ensured every moment felt effortless. ​Erinmary and Destiny were quiet anchors. We never had to look for them; they were simply there, anticipating needs before they were even spoken. Lillian and Gilbert are names we will carry with us for the way they treated us - we will say hi from now on when we see them. My friends and family haven't stopped talking about the food—several people told me it was the best they’ve ever had at any wedding, period. Even as someone who isn’t a drinker, I heard nothing but praise for the bartenders and the spirit they brought to the house. ​There is a weight to a day like this, a vulnerability in standing before those you love. Jackalope Ranch gave us the room to breathe. Whether it was the privacy of the events room to cool off, the stunning backdrop for our first look, helping to arrange the seating and tables or the photo shoot at the bar, they gave us the run of the place with our best interests at heart. We felt like celebrities, but more importantly, we felt seen and supported. ​I suggested they could say they "put the elope in Jackalope," but for us, thevy put the heart in it. It was flawless, honest, and truly unforgettable.

Copley's on Palm Canyon was our Reception Dinner location and from the first email contact both Juliana & Greg were a delight to work with. They made planning the reception from Canada very easy, sending me picture of the location prior to us flying down there to check it out. The level of service and class was expectional, the atmosphere was superb and the food was sensational. Even after 60mph winds rolled in on the day of the wedding the back up location (inside) was absolutely perfect with the necessary privacy for such an important day. On a recommendation of our Ceremony location, Doral Desert Princess, I too would now highly recommend it to anyone hosting a smaller (under 100) wedding/reception. Thanks.

We are so glad to have picked Francesca's for our rehearsal dinner. They are much more affordable than many other places we looked at (they don't charge a room fee, have minimums, etc), yet it felt very classy and special to us. They have a back room that accommodates about 20 people (we had that many and felt about at capacity) and feels very private. They did a tasting for us (for $100 deposit towards final cost) and were friendly and professional throughout the process. We liked that Luigi thought through details for us (e.g. suggestions for room arrangements, setting up a gift table for us, helping with wording when making my own menus) - he and all the staff (another gentleman who I believe is also named Luigi) were extremely hospitable and made us feel like VIPs. They timed our meals perfectly, kept our glasses full, and made sure everyone was taken care of all night. I also liked that they didn't rush us out despite it being a Saturday night, and were flexible in details such as offering drink options ($25/bottle of wine, pay for first drink, or pay for all drinks) and especially that we got to have TWO desserts :) I highly recommend them!

We used Mill Creek through our venue (the Mitten Building), and it was a great experience! Melissa was very easy to work with and made communication very easy (some on the phone, mostly emails). We were able to sample the food before we chose our menu, and it was hands down the best decision we made! The day of went very smoothly and the catering staff was amazing! Every one kept telling us (and still do) about how delicious the food was! I definitely recommend the Mill Creek.

The Mill has some of the best food in Murrieta. Its by far THE BEST local Murrieta home grown spot. We used the Mill for our wedding catering and it was so great having them close. Its a smaller operation which was great as it made us feel like we were doing business with our family! The food was such a reasonable price and we had PLENTY! Thank you so much to Adam and The Mill family! If you're looking for great food at a great price... I would for sure choose The Mill Restaurant in Murrieta.

We got married in May 2023 at Spencer's, and we are so glad we chose this venue. We looked at many other venues in the Palm Springs area for our 100-person wedding, and Spencer's was our favorite choice. The location against the mountains is stunning for an outdoor wedding, and the ceremony lawn feels private and breathtaking. The golden hour lasts a little bit longer at Spencer's because it is so near the mountains. The reception area (the Bougainvillea Room) is even more beautiful than it appears in photos. The rock wall, waterfall, fireplace, candles, and uplighting create a classy and elegant atmosphere. All of the vendors we interviewed were familiar with Spencer's and had worked there before, which made communication and planning much smoother. This is a huge advantage if you do not live in the Palm Springs area. The food at Spencer's is delicious, as many other reviews have mentioned. Melissa, our wedding coordinator, was a joy to work with. She was attentive and caring, and we were very happy with her. We highly recommend Spencer's as a wedding venue. It is a beautiful and elegant location with excellent food and service.

We recently held our wedding reception (a 5 hour cocktail reception) at Blu Ristorante in Yorkville and I can't say enough about how great an experience it was! From the moment we contacted the manager, and quickly got a response, to the actual event the staff were incredibly receptive, professional and flexible. All details were followed perfectly and, unlike many other restaurant venues we looked at, additional things were allowed without expense (i.e. bringing in cupcakes or a cake without additional charge, using their microphone and projector system for a photo slideshow without charge and on short notice). All of our guests commented on how amazing the food was and the service was spectacular. The staff was so helpful, even getting down on hands and knees to try to find a lost car key! I couldn't have envisioned a better experience. The cost of the venue is quite reasonable, you can throw a great, high-end cocktail party for a reasonable price. The restaurant has a nice bar area out front which gets some light but the back is quite dark and romantic, so an afternoon cocktail reception appeared as though it was taking place in the evening. The exposed walls are gorgeous. All in all, we'd highly recommend this little place (little but holds over 100 seated) for any event! Compared to many of the places we contacted, this one was by far the most professional, flexible and responsive and it didn't hurt that the food was spectacular.

The written word can not do justice to the gratitude we feel towards Jake's Restaurant Palm Springs. Chris, Gloria, Bruce, and their fantastic team were nothing short of top notch. They endured an insane heatwave and still delivered impeccable service as always. All of our guests were floored by the tremendous cuisine (best sea bass you will EVER have), super friendly service, and professionalism. Every time we find ourselves in the desert now they are a must for a fine dining experience. The hardest part of working with Jake's was choosing which phenomenal choices to offer our guests. Without question stop searching for your wedding or special event caterer, you have found them at Jake's. Thank you for making our wedding unforgettable. Yvonne & Jill
