Dream wedding!

We were married at The Hampton Maid on 10/7/23 and we’re still on a high. The weekend was incredible, and all of our guests left feeling relaxed and raving about the whole weekend. I’ll start from the beginning:

My Husband and I are wedding industry professionals and did not want a venue that does 2+ weddings a weekend and treats couples like just another number. We also wanted a venue that would be kind to our vendors and comfortable for everyone to stay on-site if they wanted to. We knew almost immediately that our wedding would be personalized and we could count on The Hampton Maid to give us their time and attention for the weekend. Nikoleta replied almost immediately to my inquiry and was so kind and helpful with my initial questions. She made the process easy and fun and it didn’t take long to decide on The Hampton Maid, site unseen! Once they were open for the season we went out to R.Aire for a tasting with Chef Alex. We were treated so well and given the best meal of our lives (and we are foodies!) and they surprised us with a wine pairing as well.

Leading up to the wedding, Nikoleta helped connect us with vendors who she enjoys working with and we are so glad we took her recommendations. She worked together well with all of our vendors and it felt like we had a family of people who actually cared about our wedding.

The rooms were so comfortable for everyone who stayed. We stayed in one of the newer suites but our families and friends stayed in the standard rooms and all spoke so highly of the comfort and style of their rooms. HM was accommodating to guests arriving from the airport and even allowed some early checkins and late checkouts.

The grounds are STUNNING. We found so many hidden places to take photos. The ceremony was beautiful and convenient, as we walked right out of a nearby room to walk down the aisle. The dining areas made our reception feel like we were at an intimate dinner party with our favorite people. We danced out in the garden patio and it was PERFECT. Our florist (Roses and Rice, recommended by Nikoleta) lined the existing cafe lights with greenery and turned the patio into a dream. We moved indoors for the after party and the bar is so cute and chic and they let us sit on the bar for some silly end of night party photos.

We celebrated with a farewell brunch on Sunday and the food was AMAZING. I can’t stop thinking about my blueberry pancakes and my hard to please uncle said that the gravy on his biscuits was the best he’s ever had.

I could go on and on about how wonderful and special our weekend was, but I can sum it up by telling you to BOOK YOUR WEDDING HERE if you’re looking to steer away from the normal ballroom/wedding mill vibes that overpower the industry. You won’t regret it!!

Beyond anything I could have imagined!

We had our entire family stay here and once arrived they were raving about how nice and relaxing this hotel was. It was beyond perfect for our pictures and they give you the full use of every spot on the property. The even coordinator Nikoleta was fabulous she took us on a tour of the grounds to show us all the hidden spots! The entire Hampton maid team went above and beyond and helped me put welcome baskets that I made in each of our guests rooms Although our wedding was at a different location we decided to plan our final get together brunch at their restaurant and it was fabulous. Everyone was so accommodating and helpful. They truly went above and beyond and on our wedding day the owners had a bottle of champagne sent to our room to congratulate us. I cannot recommend this place enough whether throwing your wedding or using as the hotel for your special weekend!

Nikoleta and the entire staff at the Hampton Maid provide such a warm and welcoming environment for having an intimate setting to celebrate nuptials!

Where to begin...Nikoleta is thorough, supportive, responsive, and helpful throughout the planning process. The Hampton Maid is a naturally beautiful setting, the restaurant with its master chef, and exquisite customer service and professionalism creates the perfect back drop for such a special moment. Our guests could not stop raving about the warmth of the setting, the amazing food, and all want to return for another weekend at the hampton maid! I have been frequenting the hampton maid for 13 years myself and will continue to! Perfect place for our intimate wedding with family and friends!
