We rented the Great Hall at the Grand Theater because we felt it was something truly unique to Wausau. Little did we know that the service they provide is also truly unique to Wausau. The staff at the Grand coordinated with our caterer, our DJ, and our florist to make sure that everything was setup on time. They accommodated last minute requests and changes, and contributed to the flow of the entire evening. I absolutely would select this vendor again, and will do so if I have a reason to rent an event center in Wausau.

We worked with The Grand for our wedding reception and they were fantastic. We originally planned to do our ceremony here as well, but we booked the theater itself and, for safety, they had to put up metal railings along the edge of the stage, so our ceremony pictures would have been obscured. They worked fabulously for our reception, though, we had full access to lighting, they set up a satellite bar right in the space so our guests didn't have to go all the way to the arts bar, and they were fully stocked for all situations. Michael Loomis was our contact and everything came off without a hitch. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a great and unique space for their event!

It was a pleasure to work with the Grand Theater for our wedding. They coordinated very closely with all our vendors: caterer, disc jockey, florist, photographer. Our wedding event was very enjoyable because they took care of all the details! Highly recommend!

It cost $1500 to book the hall and we spent another $5000 on the bar bill. The room was gorgeous that night! They let us come and decorate as well the day before, which was a big help. The bartenders were awesome.

Absolutely beautiful!! I loved having the ceremony and reception right next to each other and having our own wedding planner right there who knew everything about the location was great!

The space was great and they were definitely willing to work with us to make sure everything was how we wanted it. We used one of the lounges for our ceremony space and ended up having to pay extra so that both the bride and groom could get ready at the Grand, as only one "getting ready" space was included. Everything for the reception was awesome.

wonderful experience--was so much nicer than the same old hotel ballroom theme, like so many other wedding we attended. Recieved tons of great feedback from guests the hall was such a unique place. would highly recommend
