Sarah was absolutely fantastic to work with and our cake was stunning. I work in wedding catering, so I’ve seen and tried many wedding cakes and ours was hands down the best I’ve ever tasted. The other desserts, especially the peanut butter s’mores cookies were also a huge hit. I cannot recommend Sarah enough!

Sarah was so amazing to work with! We reserved Goose Chase for our wedding at Trailside Inn in Killington, VT in August 2025. Sarah’s selection of flavors are so good you literally cannot go wrong with anything you choose. We did a cake tasting a few months before and left so happy because everything was so good. We did a small 2 tiered cake with other dessert bar options. Our guests raved about the cheesecake squares and flavors of our wedding cake/cupcakes. We actually intentionally over ordered hoping to have left overs, but they were so good our guests consumed all of the extras before the end of the night! She nailed our birch tree design for our outdoor VT wedding theme. Sarah was great to work with, so kind, quick to communicate, and coordinated with our venue so I did not have to do any extra planning for the big day. Book her!

Sarah from The Goose Chase Cake Design was a pleasure to work with from our initial meeting, cake tasting and delivery/set-up of our wedding cake and other variety of desserts we ordered. We wanted the cake decorated with a hydrangea theme and she couldn’t have done a better job creating just what we envisioned with dozens of handmade fondant hydrangea flowers. The attention to detail was impressive and the cake was delicious! We also had order an array of cookies for our guests and there wasn’t a single one left by the end of the night. Since our wedding we have ordered birthday cakes and holiday treats from Sarah. Delicious, high quality and affordable- you will not be disappointed!

Sarah did the most awesome job on our wedding cake and macrons. All the desserts were delicious, beautiful, and well done. We specifically wanted a "purple tree" cake, and she really delivered! We got so many compliments on it and the cake flavor was so good (lemon poppyseed with lemon and blueberry filling!). She also went out of her way to make some unique macron flavors for us (maple, strawberry, chocolate, and funfetti!) and all of them were a huge hit. The venue saved the top of the cake for us and we ate half of it over a couple days of our honeymoon and it was awesome. We also had a wonderful tasting with her where she gave us three sample cakes that we even got to take home and walked us through everything she could do - it was so fun. She was kind and incredibly responsive throughout wedding planning! I super highly recommend Sarah to make any of our special event treats!

We would absolutely recommend Sarah and The Goose Chase Cake Design for any wedding or special event! The whole process of working with her went incredibly smoothly, with good communication and willingness to adapt and try new things to meet our requests. She is just a lovely person. The final result was an absolutely stunning dessert display, that not only looked fabulous but tasted incredible. We had a 3-tier cake in 2 different flavors and 4 different mini-desserts. Our only regret is that our guests gobbled them up so quickly we didn't get to try them all! They told us they were delicious. So, order more than you think - you will need them. ;)

Our wedding was in June 2023. We loved working with Sarah, she made sure our order was perfect from the start, answering all of our questions, to the finish when she delivered our items to a mountain top giving proper attention to every detail along the way. I’ll continue to use The Goose Chase Cake Design for any Vermont baking needs, and you should too!

I gave Sarah a few inspiration photos and showed her all my mood boards and told her to run. While that might be fun it can also be stressful to try and create something with little direction. But I wanted something different that you don’t see on pinterest already so that’s why I gave her free range. She did a beautiful job and the funfetti flavor was a hit!!

Sarah was extremely easy to work with, and that was just the start...trying to put together a last minute elopement had us almost forgetting to get ourselves a small but memorable cake. But a last minute call to Goose Chase Cake Design resulted in a tastier and more beautiful creation than we could have imagined. We didn't try anything in advance, and trusted Sarah that her Blueberry Rosemary Polenta signature cake was both interesting and delicious. I know it wasn't just the excitement of the moment that made it so wonderful, since we were able to enjoy it for more than a week afterward in perfect, equally sweet condition! To top off the experience, she found wildflowers in her own garden to put on top of it - even in Mid October! They paired so well with our cake topper that she placed for us upon pickup. When we have our larger celebration after the pandemic, we will be sure to use her again!
