Sarah did the most awesome job on our wedding cake and macrons. All the desserts were delicious, beautiful, and well done. We specifically wanted a "purple tree" cake, and she really delivered! We got so many compliments on it and the cake flavor was so good (lemon poppyseed with lemon and blueberry filling!). She also went out of her way to make some unique macron flavors for us (maple, strawberry, chocolate, and funfetti!) and all of them were a huge hit. The venue saved the top of the cake for us and we ate half of it over a couple days of our honeymoon and it was awesome. We also had a wonderful tasting with her where she gave us three sample cakes that we even got to take home and walked us through everything she could do - it was so fun. She was kind and incredibly responsive throughout wedding planning! I super highly recommend Sarah to make any of our special event treats! -

Sarah’s cake flavors are vibrant and the cake itself moist and delicious. The decorating was beautiful and exactly what we had hoped for at our wedding!! She’s also a joy to work with!! And beyond cakes, she has a wide array of glorious offerings - luscious creme puffs, adorably whimsical meringue mushrooms, and velvety, angelic macarons (strawberry basil were heavenly). Be sure and order more than you think you need because you and your guests will not be able to resist trying them all … at least twice!! -

I gave Sarah a few inspiration photos and showed her all my mood boards and told her to run. While that might be fun it can also be stressful to try and create something with little direction. But I wanted something different that you don’t see on pinterest already so that’s why I gave her free range. She did a beautiful job and the funfetti flavor was a hit!!The Goose Chase Cake Design's reply:

I still smile thinking about our cake!
Sarah from The Goose Chase Cake Design did the most amazing job on our cake! She was extremely responsive and very easy to work with. We didn't do a cake tasting so reviews and photos helped us with our decision and we certainly made the right one! The chocolate cake tasted incredible and I am obsessed with how the design came out!! -

We wanted a simple cutting cake for our wedding - we already had a dessert table, so we didn't need anything elaborate. We contacted Sarah about making us a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting and it was absolutely, beyond words delicious - my only regret is that I didn't eat more! She even added some sweet flowers to spruce up our simple cake.
Goosechase is an especially convenient option for couples getting married at Lareau Farm, as she works right on the property! -

Sarah was extremely easy to work with, and that was just the start...trying to put together a last minute elopement had us almost forgetting to get ourselves a small but memorable cake. But a last minute call to Goose Chase Cake Design resulted in a tastier and more beautiful creation than we could have imagined. We didn't try anything in advance, and trusted Sarah that her Blueberry Rosemary Polenta signature cake was both interesting and delicious. I know it wasn't just the excitement of the moment that made it so wonderful, since we were able to enjoy it for more than a week afterward in perfect, equally sweet condition! To top off the experience, she found wildflowers in her own garden to put on top of it - even in Mid October! They paired so well with our cake topper that she placed for us upon pickup. When we have our larger celebration after the pandemic, we will be sure to use her again! -

Sarah from The Goose Chase Cake Design was a pleasure to work with from our initial meeting, cake tasting and delivery/set-up of our wedding cake and other variety of desserts we ordered. We wanted the cake decorated with a hydrangea theme and she couldn’t have done a better job creating just what we envisioned with dozens of handmade fondant hydrangea flowers. The attention to detail was impressive and the cake was delicious! We also had order an array of cookies for our guests and there wasn’t a single one left by the end of the night. Since our wedding we have ordered birthday cakes and holiday treats from Sarah. Delicious, high quality and affordable- you will not be disappointed! -

Best Cupcakes EVER!
For our wedding, Sarah graciously accommodated all our wishes, crafting two different flavored cupcakes plus a small cake for us to freeze and enjoy for our one year anniversary. The cake and half the cupcakes were red velvet with cream cheese frosting: the perfect balance between sweet and tangy. With the other half, Sarah went all out with the decoration. She made vanilla cupcakes with buttercream frosting that she piped on top in the shape of sunflowers, which matched my bouquet and tied in seamlessly with our decor. They looked amazing and tasted even better. They were so good that for our 5th anniversary this summer we ordered two dozen red velvet cupcakes. We were able to enjoy them with our families all over again and they lived up to our memories :) If you are looking for any sort of cake for your wedding, anniversary, birthday, or just because, look no further than Goose Chase Cake Design! -
