Being from Vermont, it was important to use as many local vendors as possible for our wedding. Jenica at Fancy Pants was one of the first vendors we chose to work with and it was a seamless experience from start to finish. The process of tasting and choosing the flavor and design was extremely collaborative, and she made it as accessible as possible for us. When we got closer to the wedding, communication was prompt and everyone was always on the same page. Delivery and set up was right on time, and the cakes themselves were beyond good, and beautiful in color. We can’t recommend Fancy Pants enough for all of your wedding cake needs! No need to look any further.

this cake was perfect! just what we wanted. I loved working with Jenica who was professional and had great advice, like which fresh berries would be best and how much cake for how many people we had. I liked that she mailed us a ton of options and we got try them at home ourselves. we opted for a brown sugar vanilla cake and a choclate gf cake with dulce de leche frosting. we got rave reviews from our guests and we loved it too! she also is so talented look at this gorgeous cake!

My wife and I couldn't have been happier with how Jenica executed our vision for our wedding cake. She was incredibly patient, very easy to work with, and offered excellent advice and suggestions when we were stuck on design choices. On the day of the wedding, my wife and I first saw the completed cake during one of our pre-wedding photo shoots and were blown away by just how fantastic the cake looked - it came out better than either of us could've imagined. Not only did the cake look amazing, after the wedding we heard reports of guests returning to the desert table for 2nd and 3rd servings during the reception, so you know the cake tasted delicious as well. I speak for both my wife and I when I say that if you are considering Fancy Pants Cakes for you wedding cake, you will not be disappointed.

All I can say is WOW! Not only was the cake the EXACT look that we wanted from the inspiration pictures we sent, but our wedding guests are still raving about just how delicious the cake was! Jenica was fantastic to work with and she is an extremely talented baker. The number of flavor and buttercream choices she gives you is incredible. I can seriously still taste our brown sugar vanilla cake with chai buttercream like it was yesterday! Jenica was open to our vision and worked to make it exactly what we hoped for. Also, flavor tasting the mini cupcakes and buttercreams she sent to us in the mail was a delicious bonus. We can't recommend her enough!!

Jenica was a DREAM to work with. She saw our vision start to finish and executed on the most beautiful cake we could have ever imagined. She also found the silver stand that we loved and it was the perfect touch. The cake was both stunning and delicious. It was the most delicious cake we have ever tasted in our life and many of our guests thought the same. If you hire Jenica you will not have to worry or stress about a thing!

Jenica did an incredible job with our cake! From the tasting, the consultation, and the end result, her communication was excellent! Our tasting was mailed to us and everything tasted incredible! We ended up going with a chocolate cake with raspberry buttercream and chocolate ganache, and a brown butter vanilla with maple buttercream and white chocolate ganache. They were to die for! But there were so many amazing flavor combinations it was so hard to pick. The decorations came out absolutely perfect - it was amazing to see exactly what we had talked about come to life! She even suggested we hide a small detail in our frosting, and we chose to include a cat to represent ours. It came out so cute! The guests loved the cake and we were able to take a tier home for ourselves. Thank you so much Jenica!

Jenica was fantastic!! She was so responsive and worked with us to facilitate two different tastings (since we were having trouble deciding), and gave us fantastic suggestions around display and flavors. We got a GF cutting cake and normal mini cupcakes, and both of them were fantastic. The number of cupcakes she recommended was spot on, we only had about a dozen minis leftover the next day (which got quickly eaten during breakfast!). Cannot recommend highly enough!!

Everyone at the wedding reception raved about the cake. My favourite moment is when the bride and groom were doing their cake cutting pictures, and the bride got lovely shocked look.. OMG this is delicious she said while she had cake covering her face.

Jenica was amazing to work with throughout our wedding cake selection process! She put together the most delicious tasting package and overnighted it to us in Boston so that we could taste all the flavors we were considering for our wedding cake. We had a difficult time narrowing it down to just one flavor combination because they were all so delicious so Jenica recommended we select two different flavor combinations for our guests to choose from, and we’re so glad we did! Our guests absolutely loved the brown sugar vanilla cake with raspberry puree and chocolate ganache and the pumpkin cake with maple buttercream filling – many opted for a slice of each! The cake itself was beautiful, and Jenica was able to place a few loose flowers from our florist on the cake to tie everything together. We highly recommend Fancy Pants Cakes for all your cake needs!

We had a small wedding and a small two tier cake-- German chocolate with traditional filling in the center and mocha in the other two layers and Carrot cake with salted caramel filling. This cake was fantastic and as hard as it is to pick a favorite, we LOVED the salted caramel with the carrot cake. I can't express how delicious Jenica's creation was and how much we appreciated her communication and scrumptious work.

We were a destination wedding so all of our communication with Jenica was virtual and we were always pleased with her response time and level of communication. We knew we were in good hands and everything went off seamlessly.

We would highly recommend her business and are only sad we can't eat more of her cake anytime soon!
