Barb was astounding! I wanted a custom 1960's-style jacket made for my wedding dress, and since I couldn't find a pattern, much less one in my size, my roommate suggested her aunt, who happened to be The Genuine Article! We sat down together in her tidy home and she and sketched out exactly what I had envisioned without me even so much as showing her a photo, a trait of a true artist and artisan.

A couple weeks and fittings later, I had a beautiful, custom-built period jacket at a very reasonable price, right on time, and that in itself is work of art. (I wish I had known about her sooner so she could have made my dress, too!)
