Available to perform for weddings, The Forte Band is a musical group based in the Northfield and Chicago area of Illinois. Bandleader Chris Forte has played hundreds of weddings since 2000, and ensures the band are always current with their repertoire. Their goal is to keep the dance floor packed while meeting all a couple’s musical requests. With a large range of musical styles, they strive to play each song authentically, aiming for a professional sound.

Services Offered

Depending on what a couple needs for their event, the band ranges in size from seven to 16 pieces. They can highlight a horn section, add strings to the band, or work with a DJ. Chris personally meets with every client, discussing new songs, MC responsibilities, and any special dances the couple would like to perform. The Forte Band can provide music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, rehearsal dinner, or during breaks. The band holds liability insurance, and is willing to travel for events, supplying their own lighting, microphones, and sound/PA system. For wedding ceremonies, they can supply instruments such as string quartet, piano, acoustic guitar, flute, choral ensembles, horn ensembles, or harp. Their musical styles include the following:
