The Evergreen

We had such a wonderful wedding at The Evergreen in September 2021. It's the most beautiful venue - an industrial backdrop that you can really decorate and make feel as big or small, or any style you like. We loved working with Shannon to design a custom bar menu. The Evergreen worked wonderfully with our wedding planner service, GATHER, and all of our vendors - we had such a great team. The entire day ran so smoothly and The Evergreen made every accommodation we needed to make our perfect day come to reality! Cannot recommend the venue and staff highly enough! Our guests had such a great time! We really liked that this venue was within Portland. We had considered going outside the city, but with so many guests traveling from out of town, we didn't want to put the extra travel to our venue. The fact that this was very close to local hotels and the ceremony/happy hour/reception could all take place at one location was a MAJOR bonus.

We loved having our wedding at The Evergreen! They were easy to work with the space is incredible. We also were able to use Loyal Legion downstairs for our cocktail hour. Our guests had an amazing time! The bar staff upstairs and downstairs made sure that everyone had exactly what they needed.

The Evergreen is a beautiful, fun, and unique wedding venue in a prime Portland location. Shannon and Yvonne are also incredibly helpful and supportive which was especially appreciated while planning a wedding during COVID. The team navigated changes with ease and made the day much less stressful!

The Evergreen was the perfect place to get married! Our guest count was small (under 50) so we had the round tables set up for the ceremony and reception. It worked out great and the amount of space was perfect! Shannon and the rest of the team were amazing, as well! They really bent over backwards to make sure we had the perfect day, despite all the complications of having to postpone by a year due to COVID. We really appreciate all of their help and patience. They made the whole process so seamless and they were all so easy to communicate with!

My husband and I were extremely happy with our wedding venue choice of the Evergreen. From the moment we first toured it we knew right away it was the perfect spot for us. We had both our ceremony and reception in the same gorgeous/sophisticated space. What’s amazing about the Evergreen is that you can rent out space in the bar downstairs ( Loyal Legion) for a fun cocktail our while the space is changing over from Ceremony to reception. It has everything you need in an event space. Shannon and Yvonne were a dream to work with and everything went perfectly. I could not recommend the Evergreen enough. I wish we could do it all over again! Best day ever ❤️

Where to even begin with our review of the Evergreen and the amazing team that truly made our wedding dreams come true. My husband and I knew we wanted a true to Portland rainy day romantic wedding. The Evergreen brought to life every detail of our vision and was honestly everything we imagined and then some. From the incredible balcony and staircase, to the hardwood floors and the exposed brick, and the perfect Portland bar “Loyal Legion” for cocktail hour, the space is perfection and offered endless possibilities. The hard thing about endless possibilities is bringing them to life- and YVONNE helped us every step of the way. Outside of answering every email so quickly- Yvonne never offered anything less than thorough answers, amazing support to our vision, and endless incredible ideas and options- she really made planning our wedding FUN. I’ve noticed in the wedding industry when you share your vision it becomes set in stone and your team goes to execute it and that is that. Yvonne was patient through every hypothetical question and possible change- and truly made us feel like the space and the day was our oyster and she was willing to help us make it whatever our hearts desired. Our wedding couldn’t have gone any more perfect and we truly owe this to the evergreen- and Yvonne who guided the day perfectly. I am a planner through and through- and Yvonne couldn’t have been more of a saving grace and sounding light on our wedding day. She had every detail and minute planned to a tee- and kept our very rowdy group on schedule (no easy task). We cannot begin to express our gratitude for the evergreen team and the perfect wedding day they gave us.

This space is gorgeous! It's large and can decorated in any way to suit your design. The staircase and high windows blew me away!
Yvonne and Shannon were amazing to work with, they're very knowledgeable and lay everything out clearly, always willing to answer any questions. They have a cool relationship with The Loyal Legion bar downstairs so you can use them for your cocktail hour but they also have a bar on the main floor of the venue which can be used for your wedding as well.One word of caution, they do have a required catering list so if you're on a budget, be sure to research those catering options before committing to this venue. While we loved our catering choice, we would've liked to have chosen a cheaper option. 

We were so happy we picked the Evergreen as our wedding venue. The space is so pretty that it doesn't require a lot of decoration. I loved having the bridal suite on the mezzanine; the walk down the stairs to the altar was so special. For us, Loyal Legion was a huge plus--it was one of the main reasons we picked the Evergreen, and our guests had a great time at our cocktail hour. The staff were always quick to respond to our questions and helpful; we used their expertise as we were making final decisions about the ceremony and timeline. We'd absolutely choose the Evergreen all over again.

The Evergreen offered us exactly what we wanted - an indoor setting with an urban feel. The exposed brick, giant windows, and wood floor make it feel like an elegant old school building. Every corner of the space is chic and makes you want to spent more time there. The staff is incredibly helpful, quick to reply, and kind. By far the best service I received in my hunt for the right venue!

We got married in January at the Evergreen and absolutely loved the place. The venue is simply beautiful and easy to work with. Yvonne was very helpful in setting up the bar menu and we were able to use the Loyal Legion downstairs for a cocktail hour as well. Would definitely recommend this venue!
