History This building was erected in 1832 during an economic boom for Jean Baptiste Zenon Cavelier, president of the Bank of New Orleans. The two sisters who inspired the name of this venue were Bertha Angaud and Emma Camors who sold Mardi Gras costumes, formal gowns and perfume during their time.

Ahh I wish I could give a 100 star review!! Court of Two Sisters was the absolute best wedding venue we could have ever dreamed of. We are from Chicago and 100% of our guests were from out of town, most having never been to NOLA before, so we wanted them to have a really authentic and beautiful New Orleans experience during our wedding. It has the perfect location, amazing staff (shoutout Kandice who made sure my husband and I were taken care of all night) and insanely delicious food (oyster bar anyone?!).
Raven is an all-star venue coordinator and was so easy to work with. She was unbelievably fast in responding to all my questions (I had a lot) and helped to pull strings for some of our bizarre requests, like bringing in a deep dish pizza to cut instead of a cake.
We got SO LUCKY with the wisteria tree blooming the days leading up to our wedding. I think our guests will be talking about our wedding for the rest of our lives because the courtyard was so magical. Multiple people have told us it was the best wedding they have ever been to, including their own, and COTS was the main reason why. I cannot wait to come back and celebrate many anniversaries with my new husband here.

Beautiful Courtyard Venue in NOLA!
This venue was perfect for the type of experience we were looking for! Raven, the venue coordinator, was super helpful from the start and worked seamlessly with my day-of coordinator. Always responsive and even gave vendor recs when we got in a bind. If you’re looking for a venue that is indoor-outdoor and includes food and drink already, highly recommend giving this one a tour. Our guests still rave about the food! Bonus points for the Wisteria in the middle of the courtyard. It created a beautiful leafy trellis overhead which meant bringing in additional flowers to decorate was not entirely necessary.

Room for Rehearsal Dinner
Recommend The Court of Two Sisters for your rehearsal or other dinner. Communication before, during and after was five-star (thank you, Raven!), working across the miles. Their price was the most reasonable we found for a choice of 3 entrees for each guest, in a 4-course meal, and a nice open bar, with gratuity included. We used the upstairs Grand Marquis Room, which was actually two adjoining rooms - one for dinner and one for mingling. It does have a balcony overlooking Royal Street, but it was not accessible for our dinner. Guests enjoyed the dinner (and drinks-smile) -- especially the shrimp and grits and the gumbo soup. The servers/staff at the event were absolutely efficient, friendly, fun and amazing. Love the location.

Amazing Venue - Court of Two Sisters!
Raven and her team at Court of Two Sisters did a wonderful job hosting our wedding! The venue was beautiful, the staff was friendly, and the food was excellent. The courtyard was perfect for the ceremony and the reception, and the staff was able to flip the seating during the second line parade. The restaurant is picturesque providing a distinctive background for photos. And, there is plenty of lovely indoor space in the event of inclement weather. If you are looking for a great wedding venue that captures the charm of New Orleans, we fully recommend The Court of Two Sisters!

Wonderful experience
We had our wedding and reception at The Court of Two Sisters and couldn't have been more happy with the staff and overall experience. My only caution to any fellow bride is to not get a dress with any type of train since it will likely get dirty. The acoustics weren't that great for the ceremony, but we were in a courtyard in the French Quarter so.it couldn't be helped. Raven was amazing and our attendant, Bri, was fantastic! The guests are still talking about the food!

Absolutely Amazing Experience!
From the start, my experience at The Court of Two Sisters was a dream. The sales team made suggestions that helped me see my vision come to life in this historic, iconic gem of a venue. My Old World New Orleans themed wedding could not have been more romantic or any closer to what I had hoped for. Their guidance along the way and the genuine enthusiasm of the staff on the day of my wedding left me wishing that I could do it all over again. The multiple photo backdrop locations including indoor and outdoor options created so many special memories. The food and bar offerings were spot on and my guests are still raving! True New Orleans hospitality professionals all the way around!

Couldn't have asked for a better experience!
I had my wedding at COTS on 10/8/22 and let me tell you...IT. WAS. A. DREAM. Every part of the experience with the venue was top notch (the venue itself, the food, the staff, etc). The sales manager, Raven, was responsive, patient, easy-going and so accommodating throughout the entire process. We still get SO many comments about how fun it was, how the courtyard looked like something out of a fairytale, how great the food was, and literally even about how awesome the staff was. I seriously can't thank COTS enough for everything they did to ensure we had the best day ever.

Wonderful venue and amazing customer service!
We're so happy with our decision to have our wedding reception at The Court of Two Sisters! Raven was incredibly responsive, helpful, and just a joy to work with! She answered every small question we had leading up to the reception and was very on top of everything. The venue itself was exactly what we wanted because it was so naturally beautiful with the canopy and lights that we saved a lot of money on decorations. The food exceeded my expectations and everyone was talking about how wonderful the passed hors d'oeuvres were! Thanks to everyone at the Court of Two Sisters who made our day extra special!

Wonderful Experience in Every Way
I was SO happy that we decided to go with The Court of Two Sisters for my son and daughter-in-love’s rehearsal dinner. Trying to plan something of this magnitude when you live out-of-state is difficult, but Raven, the Sales Manager, and ALL the staff created an amazing evening for our 60 guests. Raven was so easy to work with, answered every question I had through the process, and handled all the last minute details that popped up. The room was beautiful, the food delicious, and the drinks made perfectly. Everyone working that evening went out of their way to make sure it all went smoothly…all the guests commented on how wonderful the evening was from start to finish. It was the perfect start to a beautiful wedding weekend! Thank you to all the staff for your care…it is so apparent that you take pride in what you do and it showed in every way.

Magical Wedding at Court of Two Sisters
From the moment we walked in for venue shopping in May 2019, Sherry (event planner) made us feel comfortable and special. The venue itself is absolutely magical from walking in the corridor with the Charm Gates to walking into their GORGEOUS courtyard covered with Wisteria it is truly stunning!
Raven then took over our wedding during COVID and our transition to find a new dates in April 2020. She was a GEM as well! She was super flexible with helping us find a new date and working through different scenarios. She was very creative with the set up and the menu to still allow us to have our NOLA style wedding and giving us solutions to allow us to still have all of our cuisine options we had originally decided upon. She made us feel so special and created a wedding of a lifetime! Raven took all my stress away having to plan a wedding twice - she completely put me at ease. Our family & friends continue to say it was the best wedding they have ever attended! The staff was top notch! We had a dedicated server (Damon) and every time I looked up he had a beverage or a snack ready for me. We cannot THANK the team their enough for giving us such a special day filled with love and celebration during COVID. We cannot wait to go back to celebrate our 1 year anniversary and see everyone again :)
