Every time we visit Saint Claire, we’re surprised by how transported we feel and that feeling was magnified on the day of our wedding. From the second our guests and I laid eyes on the beautifully restored building and ancient oak shaded grounds, we knew we were going to create a wonderful memory together. Over the course of the day, we utilized every inch of the space: the front of house for a group photo, the interior and porch dining areas for our meal, the bar for procuring drinks, and the bandstand and courtyard for dancing and reveling. Unsurprisingly, the meal was incredible to the delight of our guests and it was served by an unparalleled professional staff. Every bite and every gesture was executed with the utmost level of detail. The staff truly felt like an extension of our families and made sure that everyone was cared for. Highlights from our menu include the homemade biscuits and bread, fried oysters, and shrimp okra gumbo. Our guests were very full and all of their libations were fulfilled, whether they were drinking alcohol or not. Personally, we loved the mocktails which the Saint Claire bar staff created for our day. To enhance our Cajun wedding, we hired Louis Michot and the Evangeline Playboys to play music and they were able to christen the beautifully designed and perfectly equipped bandstand. We loved being on the dancefloor and watching our guests choose their own adventure, whether it was dancing alongside us, grazing at the charcuterie table, enjoying a drink in the courtyard, or roaming the stunning grounds of Saint Claire. Naturally, this beautiful setting yielded equally beautiful photos and we’ve shared a few of those with this review. I mean this when I say, every single guest commented that it was unlike any wedding they have ever attended. We wanted something intimate, special, and very “us,” and Saint Claire was the perfect partner in executing that vision. Early in wedding planning, it became clear to me that planning a wedding took a LOT of comprise. If I wanted this photographer, I couldn’t do this florist- every decision connected to another and it was all so overwhelming. When looking at venues, it didn’t seem possible to have it all- beautiful scenery and space, good food, great service… but then, enter Saint Claire! Saint Claire was the one piece of the puzzle where everything was perfect- from their gorgeous dining space and bar, back porch, and outdoor garden- to their delicious food- to their wonderful staff- it was a dream come true. The staff is so kind and easy to work with and they made sure every detail was as we wanted for our big day. The food was outstanding...everyone said we wouldn’t eat on our wedding day…but we finished every bite of every course! Our day was magical, cozy, and warm- and I would highly recommend Saint Claire to anyone looking for a space for their special event.

We hosted a dinner for 100 people at the Saint Claire, and it was truly one of the best dining experiences our team has ever had.

From the moment we walked in, everything was above par—the table settings, the ambiance, and the attention to detail from their team—all of it exceeded our expectations. And the food... unbelievable. We're still talking about it!
