The Confluence is a wedding ceremony and reception venue in Hico, West Virginia, that’s located on a beautiful 300-acre farm atop the Gauley and Meadow rivers’ canyon rim. This wilderness destination is the perfect choice for couples looking for a rustic country venue with gorgeous scenery. You and your guests can enjoy the breathtaking mountains, a 70-foot waterfall, and cliff sides via the nature trails and rails-to-trails along the river banks, adding adventure to your wedding weekend.
Facilities and Capacity
The Confluence can accommodate up to 150 guests at their destination location. Their single event space offers a mix of covered and uncovered indoor/outdoor locations for your ceremony. The resort has a specially designed ceremony overlook, a 4000 sq foot reception facility, and a rustic barn for you to use. The entire venue is surrounded by intimate forests and over 50 acres of fields, and you and your guests will be comforted by the sounds of the rushing whitewater.
The Confluence has on-site lodging for you and your guests, perfect for intimate wedding parties. The Hemlock House is a two-level home that can accommodate up to 11 people comfortably; the Vandalia House is a three-level home that can accommodate up to 13 people comfortably.
Services Offered
The Confluence is wheelchair accessible and has ample parking for you and your guests to use. Couples are able to use the resort space for bridal showers, ceremonies, elopements, engagement parties, receptions, and rehearsal dinners. The resort offers clean-up and set-up for each event and has an on-site bridal suite. Other services include accommodations, event planning, event rentals liability insurance, lighting/sound, outside vendors, pet friendly, and wireless internet. In addition to audio equipment, chairs, linens, and tables, couples can choose to rent.

Location
