Athena Estate & Vineyard is a beautiful family-owned wedding venue in Beckley, West Virginia, that’s brimming with rustic charm and history. With humble beginnings, The Atha started as a working farm with animals, and in the 90s, the family began to clear the land, plant a garden, and grow a grape arbor to make wine. After their daughter wished to host her rehearsal dinner on the property, they realized the potential it had to be the ultimate setting for celebrations of love. Host your entire wedding weekend at the vineyard with exclusive use of the grounds, plenty of spaces to choose from, accommodations, and countless amenities. Rolling hills and vine-covered landscapes will set the stage for you to step into the next chapter of your story.

Facilities and Capacity

Start your day in the designated get-ready spaces, where you can prepare and pamper in style. Exchange vows surrounded by your nearest and dearest in the intimate chapel, designed with elegant ceremonies in mind. Alternatively, you can say ‘I do’ in the open air at one of the stunning sites on the property, and let natural beauty and lush greenery act as your decor. You’ll enjoy plenty of photo opportunities here and snap your coveted images against backdrops like the rustic covered bridge, heritage tree, and the decorated wedding gazebo. For your reception, you can set up a wedding tent or enjoy an al fresco dining experience on the patio. Illuminated with lights, this space is the perfect place to toast to your milestone and dance under the stars. After the festivities wind down, the Estate House can sleep up to twenty guests with six spacious bedrooms.
