We evaluated many venues in the area but nothing compared to The Colony Golf and Country Club. The venue itself is breathtaking, to say the least, it’s so unique, modern, and beautiful inside and outside that it really doesn’t require much floral and decor. Although the physical venue was stellar, the best part about The Colony was the team. Milda, the Food and Beverage Director, went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. Like many 2020 brides, we were impacted by COVID but Mild was so gracious and flexible with moving our wedding from May to November without hesitation. Communicating with her was always easy and she helped guide us and make suggestions along the way; Milda and her head bartender even helped us create a signature drink recipe! When the day came, the service team was exceptional with their attention to detail and hospitality. Our outdoor ceremony was at risk due to Tropical Storm Eta but Milda and her team were alert and ready to move it indoors but wanted to wait and give the weather a chance. I’m so glad they did because it didn’t rain and it was perfect outside! We received so many compliments on the venue, the delicious food, and the service. I would highly recommend trusting The Colony Golf and Country Club with your wedding!

I cannot say enough, Nicole and her staff was amazing. I was the first wedding after the remodel of the clubhouse. Everything was done with excellence! I could not have been more happier with the food. The chefs were amazing! Even today I still have guest that attended still raving about the food and the atmosphere. If you are looking for an amazing place at a reasonable price, then look no further then The Colony!!!

We can not say enough great things about The Colony as our wedding venue! It was so unique and beautiful, the outside terrace was unbelievable to dance under the string lights! Everyone raved over how beautiful it was! The food was outstanding and The Colony was so affordable considering how amazing it was! Nicole, the food and beverage manager, is absolutely a joy to work with! She was so professional, on top of every little detail, accommodated every request, and worked so hard to make our night so perfect! Our wedding reception was magical, and the room had such a wow factor! We are so thrilled with our experience with The Colony and their entire team!

While planning my wedding at The Colony, Nicole, the food and beverage manager was absolutely PERFECT to work with. She was incredibly responsive towards my emails while planning my wedding, as well as being nothing but accommodating to all my requests. I truly could not have asked for a better contact to work with at The Colony. The food was outstanding, the staff was so pleasant, and the decorations were set up exactly how I wanted them to be. Not to mention, their prices were the most reasonable in the area, and I definitely got the most "bang for my buck." I will absolutely recommend this vendor more than any of the other vendors I dealt with solely upon Nicole's amazing assistance.

I actually WON this reception and ceremony through a bridal event they were having about a year ago. I could not believe my luck! Yet, even though I won this event, and they stood to make no money off of me, they were, without fail; warm, inviting, and willing to accomodate any and all requests I made. The food was outstanding, the ceremony beautiful (held in the port-coche area of the the main clubhouse, this area had a wooden ceiling and arched "windows" that made it seem like a church!) and the service friendly and on point. Michelle Kosteno was the person I ended up working with, and she was available to answer all my questions, got back to me quickly, and was just so friendly.
The place itself is gorgeous, and was beyond what I thought I would ever have. The architechtural elements added themselves not only to the atmosphere, but to beautiful photos as well!

My wedding was amazing at The Cololny. From the first time I looked at the venue I knew thats where I wanted my reception. The staff did a great job and all of my guests keep telling me how wonderful the food was. The staff at The Colony was very responsive! Not one thing went wrong through out the entire process!

We had our reception here and not a complaint! The staff was wonderful to work with during our planning from NY. All of our requests were followed and our small details weren't overlooked. Very accomodating and really-they did not say no to anything we wanted for that day. The food was AMAZING...not one complaint!!
