The Bur Oak

Jenny and the Bur Oak team were wonderful to work with for our wedding - communicative, thorough, and responsive. Our day was so special and we couldn't have done it without them! They have lots of options for various budgets and really work hard to throw a great party.

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue for our wedding and reception than The Bur Oak! Its spacious yet intimate setting, combined with its prime location and affordability, made it an ideal choice. The cozy atmosphere required minimal decoration, allowing us to focus on what truly mattered. The venue staff were exceptional, and Jenny, in particular, was instrumental in bringing our vision to life. Her dedication and attention to detail ensured that our day was seamless and unforgettable.

Communication was great and Jenny also helped coordinate timelines with all of our other vendors. The planning meeting a month out to review all the little details was great to make sure we had everything covered. The staff moved really smoothly together and we had no worries the day of our wedding. Of course, the venue is beautiful as well. We didn't need to bring much for decor!

We hosted our wedding at the Bur Oak in September of 2024. The bartenders did an amazing job fueling our party and the coordination staff was a pleasure to work with. The space was perfect for our 110 person wedding and didn't require a lot of decoration as it has an inherently cool aesthetic.

Biggest thanks to the talented and accommodating Bur Oak crew for making our day better than we could have imagined. The Bur Oak is absolutely beautiful and has an inviting and magical atmosphere—ambience included! Ashlee was available to answer all of my questions throughout the planning process and made it so easy that there was never a worry or concern. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how much fun they had and the uniquely beautiful venue.

The first time we visited Bur Oak, I mentioned to my other half it would be a beautiful site for a wedding... But at the time it was not accommodating for our then 200 person guest list. The wood detail, styling, lighting, was just our style. Once our wedding plans changed due to the pandemic, we knew who to call.
Ashlee and Andrew were a dream to work with. They were accommodating in working with our budget, making things happen on a short timeline, and super friendly to our family and closest friends. They went above and beyond in helping us play and pause our playlist on cue, as well as get the stage lighting just-so for our ceremony. They even assisted us in selecting our perfect tap list. We especially loved that our guests could come and go from the patio. As always, the venue was stunning and sparkly clean for our intimate gathering.
