HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Melissa the owner not only makes planning an event easy and flexible but she treats you like a friend, so kind, so funny, so sweet!!! I've sent her everyone that talks about needing a stylist to style their weddings and caterer as well. I haven't found anything I didn't like eating there. Amazing food!!

Melissa and her team at The Bake Shoppe and Cafe really out did themselves. Melissa came to decorate the dessert table and completely make an impression! It was gorgeous and, with very little guidance, made the table fit right in with the rest of the decorations. We did a traditional wedding cake, which they baked and iced, and my husband's aunt decorated. Then, what we really came to TBS&C for, was the homemade Ding Dongs. I know this may sound silly, but they are delicious and were truly a big hit. So, she prepared a vintage silver platter of these treats along with a big glass jar of homemade chocolate chip cookies and two big galvanized steel tubs of banana pudding and chocolate bourbon pudding in small mason jars. The dessert table was cleaned out! People were taking pudding jars and cookies to go!

She also brought us a plate of her chicken salad sandwiches and chips for before the wedding so that way we actually ATE something. It was such a great idea that I had not though of and she pulled it together for us. The whole wedding party was thankful!

We were not looking for a true traditional wedding cake, but due to his aunt's amazing talent we insisted on having one. Melissa made all of this (and the ding dongs!) possible and was so easy and wonderful to work with.

We would highly recommend The Bake Shoppe and Cafe for your wedding for any event. They also serve lunch...try the chicken salad!

Melissa, Holly and their bake team are AMAZING! We got our wedding cake, groom's cake, baked goods for our sweets table and a few antique furniture rentals. The cakes were to die for, Holly did a custom frosting and cake flavors on our naked wedding cake and his Superman groom's cake. The baked goods were so delicious most were gone before we got to the sweets table. The rentals were an antique chandelier for our altar and bench for our sweetheart table. They were absolutely stunning in our historical venue.
