What is the story behind The Anderson Center for the Arts?

We welcome you to consider hosting your wedding, meeting, special event, or party at the AMOA. With three separate areas on the main floor, we can easily accommodate groups of 40 to 200. Surround yourself with a beautiful and unique atmosphere including galleries filled with original works of art, a stained glass dome and rotunda, marble floor, and gold leafing. Attendees will always remember the event in this beautiful setting. AMOA is an unforgettable venue to honor parents or children at their anniversary, birthday, or graduation open house. Amazing Venue

I'm so glad one of my maid of honors knew about this place. Such a hidden gem. Not a lot of photos of the inside but I assure you, it's just as beautiful as the outside. I always received response from any email I sent and everything worked out as planned.

A beautiful venue! This is a carnegie building in downtown Anderson that used to be the Anderson library. It is now used as an art center and for special event retals. It has four beautiful rooms, one with a stained glass rotunda in the ceiling. We rented out all four rooms and had both the ceremony and the reception here. It was wonderful! So elegant!
