When people first started asking me “what made you decide on your wedding planner?” I told them exactly when I knew I wanted to hire Susan as our planner. I was in the midst of contacting all the highly reviewed wedding planners in my area at the late hours on a random weekday. I wasn’t expecting to hear back until the next following days, and the ones that did respond were automated messages asking for more information. I want to say not even an hour later I get an email back from Susan asking me when I would like to meet and other things about ourselves, but what really caught my attention was I was speaking to an actual person. We emailed back and forth, and I instantly had a good feeling about this company, as the response time was so rapid and personal. I can not speak more highly about Susan’s GENUINE kindness, professionalism, and enthusiasm with her work, its was clear right off the bat she was a pro and born to be doing this work. After our very first call with her I knew we were in good hands and the rest would essentially be smooth sailing from there. Susan was amazing to work with. My daughter was getting married not in our home town. I had the basics of the wedding planned and Susan helped make it perfect. She facilitated any meeting in the Harrisburg area that I could not get too. She was familiar with all the vendors that we chose to work with. By working with Susan and her staff, I was able to just be a very proud mother of the bride. The team took care of any hiccups. It was worth the cost.

Absolutely the best choice we made for our wedding. Susan and her team were wonderful guides through the process, especially when it came to filling out the rest of our vendors. She worked with us to make sure all of our most important details were met and any concerns or questions were addressed with due care. Susan was the absolute best for helping us plan our wedding and even that is an understatement. Starting off when my (now) wife reached out to various vendors with the typical inquiry of their services, Susan was the ONLY one to answer us back that night and already was asking to meet with us. We were hesitant with pricing and hiring a planner to begin with since we really were unsure about what they do, how much work we would still have to do and how much control or input we would have for our wedding. Everyone wants a planner that is at their fingertips, ready to answer any and all questions and is open to making all of your requests come to life on the wedding day, and Susan did not disappoint!

The first thing that comes to mind when working with Susan is at the end of every meeting, she would look over her notes and tell us how we are so ahead of schedule and that we are in a good place as far as planning. As everyone knows, while planning a wedding you always feel a step behind or that you’re missing something in the process that will keep you up at night. Not once did Susan make us feel rushed or give us unreasonable homework for us to work on between meetings. People would ask me how the wedding planning is going and I would laugh and say “well our planner says we’re on track so I guess we are doing great”. We still had the usual homework between meetings with her such as creating our invites, reviewing menu proposal drafts, picking the vendors, getting the dress and suit made and tailored, working on the marriage license other small details. But each step of the way she made sure that we never felt rushed or overwhelmed by those tasks. Each one was only given to us when she said that we are ready for as to not try and cram all the work into a few weeks. We’d always ask her “hey so we were thinking about the seating chart, or the layout of the venue” or something else we wanted to plan and check off our list and each time Susan would tell us that we are thinking too far ahead, that we don’t have to talk about that quite yet and not to worry. This seriously made things feel so stress and care-free as we got closer to our date. We would meet with Susan over the phone every month or so to begin with, increasing the meeting intervals as we got closer to the wedding date. Some meetings would be 15 minutes only, and again at the end of those meetings she’d tell us that we are still on time and on track with our planning. Which only made us less stressed as we went along with the planning process. She made it very simple to schedule anything with her and was always so quick to answer our emails to her, no matter the hour of the day. I couldn’t recommend Susan and her team enough for a planner. I never would have thought a planner could be so vital and make the process this easy but I couldn’t imagine planning the wedding ourselves and everything that we would overlook or just get stressed about for no reason. Susan made the whole process feel seamless and super easy with her steps, timeline and way of going about things.

The title truly says it all - but we could not have had such a "perfect day" without Susan & her team. Our venue suggested we reach out to TIWC for planning, and from the moment we spoke, I knew Susan would be a perfect fit to help us plan our wedding. She made the entire process as easy as possible, and every stumble along the way was handled with utmost care. It had been my dream to have a live pianist play as I walked down the aisle. We initially had difficulty finding a pianist...until Susan stepped in and took care of that too! It's been so much fun getting to know each other personally beyond the business relationship as well. We got so many compliments from our guests about how well put-together our wedding truly was--we would not have had that without Susan. If you end up working with her, I promise you will not regret it!!!

We truly cannot say enough amazing things about Susan. From start to finish, she was the heartbeat of our wedding planning process and made what could have been a stressful experience feel smooth, joyful, and fun.

What made this even more incredible is that I was in the middle of a demanding master’s program while planning the wedding. Susan made everything feel manageable. She was incredibly organized, proactive, responsive, and always two steps ahead, handling every little detail with grace, patience, and professionalism. She included my now husband in decision making while I was occupied which he appreciates to this day.

From vendor coordination to timeline management, from emotional support to last-minute problem-solving, she did it all with calm confidence. On the wedding day itself, everything ran flawlessly (and if it didn't I had no clue) we genuinely didn’t have to worry about a single thing. It was the day of our dreams, and it wouldn’t have been possible without her.
