Tha Boy Maloy Entertainment Company is a wedding DJ & photo booth company based out of Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania, proudly serving the greater PA/NY/NJ area. We view weddings as the “Super Bowl” of our clients' lives, meaning everyone should be performing like it's their last performance ever, and that’s exactly what we strive for with each and every client!
“Growing up in a big family, everyone had different music tastes, so I was always exposed to music of all different genres. Whether it be my uncle's classic rock & ‘80s rock collection, my mother’s disco & ‘80s pop hits, or my brothers and sisters' alternative rock & hip hop collection (let alone my musical collection). I was exposed to all these different sounds throughout my early and teen years, which, in hindsight, gave me everything I needed to perform well at all my shows and read the crowd no matter what age range it might be. We cater to each client differently in the sense that no two weddings are the same and need to be catered to our client's specific wants & needs. We will work tirelessly with you up until the day of the event to make sure everything goes exactly as planned! We also understand how crazy wedding planning can get, and that is why we supply each client with their own “Wedding Day Itinerary/Song List” to help give a “foundation” to build off of. We include song examples for each specific part of the wedding from past weddings to help jog your memory! This truly has helped both me and my past wedding clients.

Incredible Wedding DJ!!
James is such a good and genuine dude and an even better DJ! We hired him for our NYE wedding in Scranton, PA. He’s super easy to work with, and helped make our wedding a blast! The dance floor was full from start to finish. He knows how to please a crowd, keep the energy high, and keep riding the vibes. I had several people text me after the fact to say how good he was. I would 1000% recommend him again. We have nothing but good things to say about him!!
Absolutely the best wedding dj - hands down
He was incredibly professional, well-dressed, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented. His setup alone was absolutely breathtaking — truly top-tier and unlike anything we’ve ever seen at a wedding. The lighting was next level and completely elevated the entire atmosphere of our reception.
James listened to every request we made and played every single song exactly as asked. Beyond that, what truly set him apart was his talent. He is a real DJ — actually mixing music, using turntables, and creating an unforgettable experience. So many of our guests commented that they had always wanted to attend a wedding with a DJ who genuinely mixes music, and they were completely blown away by him.
We received countless compliments throughout the night and even after the wedding, with people telling us he was the best wedding DJ they had ever seen. He kept the energy perfect all night long and made our reception unforgettable.

James created the perfect mixed playlist for our Spanish-American wedding, blending songs that kept both our friends and family from Spain and the U.S. dancing all night. The mashups he put together were absolutely amazing—everyone was blown away! Several of our guests even went up to him during the night to tell him how good he was, and afterwards, people kept mentioning how incredible the music was.
