We had our engagement party with over 100 people and James was our DJ. Not only did he exceed our expectations, but it might have been the most fun party we have been to yet. James came so prepared and acted in such a professional manner that he will be doing our wedding in 2025 as well! I cannot recommend anybody more than James! -

Tha Boy Maloy did an absolute phenomenal job at our wedding! We got married at the Carley Brooke Venue, which he knows like the back of his hand. Planning with him was incredibly smooth; he is highly detail-oriented but never overwhelming. His communication and punctuality are top-tier, ensuring we knew exactly how the night would flow well in advance. As a DJ, he’s incredible. We gave him a general theme and a few guest requests, then let him take the reins—and he delivered hit after hit, cutting straight to the best parts of every song. I don't usually dance much, but I was on the dance floor the entire night. From the flawless ceremony music to the cocktail hour and the reception, everything was perfect. Highly recommend! -

James Maloy was genuinely a delight to work with. He was kind and professional and understood that I may not have the most experience with the marriage thing(first timer here!) and he helped me the entire way. I never had to worry about him not coming and doing what I needed- and he was the first person there and the last person to leave. He kept the dance floor alive ALL night and I got compliments on the songs he chose every single time a new song came on. He just “got” what I was trying to do musically and it was never a hassle to get him to see my vision.
I think if you’re looking for a DJ, go ahead and stop because you’ve found the best one. -

Incredible Wedding DJ!!
James is such a good and genuine dude and an even better DJ! We hired him for our NYE wedding in Scranton, PA. He’s super easy to work with, and helped make our wedding a blast! The dance floor was full from start to finish. He knows how to please a crowd, keep the energy high, and keep riding the vibes. I had several people text me after the fact to say how good he was. I would 1000% recommend him again. We have nothing but good things to say about him!!

James, aka Tha Boy Malloy, was without question one of the best decisions we made for our wedding in October 2025. From start to finish, he was exceptional.
He was incredibly professional, well-dressed, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented. His setup alone was absolutely breathtaking — truly top-tier and unlike anything we’ve ever seen at a wedding. The lighting was next level and completely elevated the entire atmosphere of our reception.
James listened to every request we made and played every single song exactly as asked. Beyond that, what truly set him apart was his talent. He is a real DJ — actually mixing music, using turntables, and creating an unforgettable experience. So many of our guests commented that they had always wanted to attend a wedding with a DJ who genuinely mixes music, and they were completely blown away by him.
We received countless compliments throughout the night and even after the wedding, with people telling us he was the best wedding DJ they had ever seen. He kept the energy perfect all night long and made our reception unforgettable.
If you are even considering booking Tha Boy Malloy — do it. James exceeded every expectation and played a huge role in making our wedding truly incredible. We could not recommend him more highly. -

We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ than James for our wedding. From the very beginning, he was incredibly sweet and easy to communicate with. He really took the time to understand our vision and was so flexible—always adapting to whatever came up without a single complaint.
James created the perfect mixed playlist for our Spanish-American wedding, blending songs that kept both our friends and family from Spain and the U.S. dancing all night. The mashups he put together were absolutely amazing—everyone was blown away! Several of our guests even went up to him during the night to tell him how good he was, and afterwards, people kept mentioning how incredible the music was.
Thanks to James, we had a wonderful time and memories we’ll never forget. We would hire him again and again without hesitation. Don’t think twice—he’s the DJ you want for your special day. -

James was our DJ for our wedding and he was GREAT, he arrived to the venue very early and had everything set up way before it needed to be, which was something that assured me as I was a bit nervous with everything going smoothly!
From cocktail, to introductions, to dinner, and then dance everything was handled professionally! Towards the end of the night, I asked James if he could possibly bring his setup outside (as our original dance floor setup was getting too packed) and he said "as long as you guys are okay with no music for 15 minutes" and with no hesitation him and his team quickly relocated his setup outside and the party was back on in less than 15 minutes!!
We are so glad we chose James and his team for our wedding DJ, he played all the songs I wanted him to and played songs he knew our crowd would like. -
