Located in Jericho, New Jersey, Tall Order is a wedding attire company that makes dress socks for feet of all sizes. Led by twin brothers Dan and Mike Friedman and their mother Lisa, this retailer creates designs that range in men’s sizes from 9 to 20. Dan and Mike stand at 6’9” and 6’11”, respectively, and have always had trouble finding socks that fit them. After graduating from college with degrees in Business and Finance, these brothers decided to start their own company with the mission of giving back. The Friedmans emblazon every pair with their logo evoking Twin Towers to commemorate the attacks on the World Trade Centers on September 11, 2001. A portion of all proceeds go to Tuesday’s Children, a nonprofit that helps communities facing traumatic losses.
