Our 2024 calendar is filling quickly. We have NO open fall '24 weekends. Check pricing (https://www.sylvanridgefarm.com/weddings) and availability (https://www.sylvanridgefarm.com/availability) anytime on our website!
A historic venue with timeless elegance, Sylvan Ridge Farm is nestled into a forested mountainside that overlooks the Delaware River Valley. Our event barn, farmhouse, and cottage have been revitalized with design input from famed architect Peter Bohlin and the master craftsmanship of Pennsylvania Amish builders to create an unparalleled gathering place. Guests enjoy total privacy, without a neighbor in sight from anywhere on our 193 acres, yet the farm is just ten minutes from historic Milford, PA and I-84, not to mention easy access to New York City.
From mature forests to sweeping lawn to secluded courtyard, Sylvan Ridge Farm envelops guests in a spectacular natural sanctuary. Though each Sylvan Ridge wedding shares this idyllic backdrop, no two are identical! Customization to each couple's preferences and taste isn't simply allowed—it's encouraged. We provide professional event coordination and can connect you with top quality vendors, but you'll also have the ability to keep things DIY and/or rely on vendors you already love. And we wouldn't dream of restricting your access to narrow hours on a set day. For our standard package, the property—barn, farmhouse, cottage, grounds, pool, and hot tub—is yours exclusively for a whole four-day weekend, with on-site lodging for up to 15 included! We understand stress is the last thing you want during the biggest event of your life, so at Sylvan Ridge Farm you have ample preparation and relaxation time before and after the wedding itself.
The Sylvan Ridge event barn, which completed construction in early 2021, is truly unique. On one hand, it is traditional and historic, erected on the site of an 1800s barn that had fallen into disrepair. To ensure authentic, high-quality workmanship, we employed Amish builders from Lancaster County to raise the mortise-and-tenon timber frame around the preserved 14-foot-wide fireplace from the original barn. On the other hand, the new building is innovative and modern, with heat and air conditioning, four state-of-the-art restrooms, a hydraulic lift for ready access between levels, and a stunning row of windows overlooking the wooded landscape. Perhaps most special of all, the structure uses ethically salvaged Brazilian hardwood throughout, resulting in unparalleled rich wood tones. Whether dining on the main level beneath its lofty timbers or sipping a cocktail in the rustic lower level bar area, guests of Sylvan Ridge Farm will enjoy a barn venue unlike any other.
While we specialize in full-weekend weddings, a weekday package is also available. For additional info, please see the pricing list provided here on WeddingWire, and don't miss our website: www.sylvanridgefarm.com! You'll find more pictures and details on the venue, and a comprehensive list of FAQs. Lastly, don't hesitate to message or call us with further questions!

I grew up right next to Sylvan Ridge Farm, neighbor to the previous owners! My husband/co-owner Alec and I spent our first years of marriage abroad, learning the hospitality business in New Zealand and then moving to Belgium for graduate education. The chance to purchase 30 beautiful acres bordering my family property initiated our move back to Milford, PA and the start of a four-year journey turning the farm into the unique venue it is today. My favorite pastimes are horseback riding, hiking, travel, piano, literary fiction, playing with my kids, and cheering for the Green Bay Packers.

Sara was born and raised in Bucks County, PA and earned her B.A. in Communication from Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, FL, with an emphasis in events. She worked in event planning in southern Florida for the next 5 years, during which time she met and married the love of her life, Jacob. They moved back to PA in 2019 to start a family, and Sara began working for Sylvan Ridge Farm soon after! Sara is a gifted leader with an acute understanding of logistics and sharp attention to detail. Her passion is connecting with couples, learning their wedding vision, and enthusiastically helping them bring it to life. She and her Sara Mack Events team coordinate all Sylvan Ridge Farm weddings!
