I could say so many things about SWFL Weddings & Event Rentals. The owner’s name is Melissa and she is a beautiful person inside and out.

I met Melissa through my wedding planner, Shelby Weir. Shelby recommended her because of her incredibly generous prices.

When I was given her contact information, I had already picked out a lot of things off typical sites, Amazon, etc., for the tablescapes and decor. I just happened to be looking at her website and various social media accounts when I noticed she did tablescapes. At the time I was feeling overwhelmed by the tables so I wanted to inquire about her prices and a few other things.

I was able to text her photographs of what I’d gotten as well as my dream aesthetic and she said if I came into her office she’d work with me on pricing and that we could discuss the wedding. I’m so glad I did that because she did in fact end up being cheaper than Amazon and other sites and was such a huge source of support!

When I walked into her office with my now husband and mom, it was less than a month before the wedding. At that stage of my wedding, I was two things. A lost puppy and a neurotic wreck. I honestly thought that table settings and chairs would be the easiest part of the wedding. Well I was wrong. No one tells you that table layouts are incredibly difficult, that everyone will have a different opinion on table layouts, that your tablecloth size is very important, that it’s hard to coordinate the color scheme, that you have to do a bunch of research because there are SO many options, and just so many other things. Just to give you an idea as to how clueless I was about all this, I didn’t know what a charger plate was when we started all this. When I was told I needed chargers by my wedding planner I thought she meant we should have cell phone chargers available for people at the wedding.

Well, when we walked into her office, Melissa took charge in a way that I really needed her to. She immediately helped me with my table layout. Made the diagram right then and there. I brought a tablescape mockup, and she improved it 💯within ten minutes. She was very sweet, professional, patient and honest about what needed improvement

I was thinking of her in the airport right before we took off and had to post about the amazing job she did before we left. She was a source of support that I truly was not expecting.

She came to my rehearsal so she could see everything and meet everyone, including my planner and my uncle who was the florist. My uncle is very particular about his work and I was a bit concerned that he’d get a little offended that I wanted someone else to help decorate, but she reassured me that she’d respect his space as a decorator and still stayed to help! She got there early in the morning and stayed until the late afternoon and then came back to pick everything up.

I also have to say, my family had an absolute blast with her! My mom and uncle really enjoyed working with her and my uncle in New York that was the florist actually told me he hopes to work with her in the future.

She is incredibly quick to respond to texts and emails and if you don’t have the time to respond she will also reach out to whoever you need to to coordinate things! She is efficient, organized, and flexible.

My wedding looked beautiful thanks to Melissa. Her chairs are incredibly clean, tablecloths are absolutely gorgeous, and we used a beautiful farmhouse table of hers that really pulled the aesthetic that I wanted together. Her and her husband are an amazing team. They arrived on time and removed all equipment on time. No complaints from the venue (who was a very particular venue) whatsoever.

Melissa has such an eye for creating beautiful moments from tables scapes to sweet heart table design and Aisle way entrances. She went above and beyond for my clients with ironing their tablecloths, providing last minute additions and creating much more then a vision but an aesthetic that draws your guest in for an intimate experience! I used two rental companies for my wedding this past November and SWFL Wedding rentals has very different items you can rent! The team hee is extremely professional and very fast to respond! I had to make a change to my order and they did it that day with no hesitation! I 10/10 reccomend this company to anyone who is getting married and needs rentals for their big day!
