I was referred to Destiny from a facebook group because I was looking for a vintage hair stylists and it just so happens not only does she do hairstyles, she does makeup, and photography! Unfortunately she is only 1 person but we used her for hairstyles and photography. Destiny is amazing to work with, very professional yet she feels like a friend. She traveled to Rochester from Buffalo to do our wedding, she brought an assistant, and was very prompt at all responses. She was very budget friendly for us and was upfront with all expectations and costs. The girls and my hair was done better than I could of imagined. I have only gotten a few sneak peaks of the photos but so far they are all amazing! Not only is Destiny a warm and positive force, she is diligent about keeping photos moving in a hectic day. She had a great way of wrangling the crowd and budgeting time so we could get to the party. We hired Destiny to shoot our Engagement and Wedding photos in 2013. We're not very traditional and didn't want cookie cutter photos and the awkward poses I see in so many wedding photos. We wanted a photographer that would give us personalized photos that matched our aesthetic and Destiny delivered. She took the time to get to know us as individuals and a couple and gave us exactly what we wanted. The lighting in all the photos matched our darker Autumn/Halloween theme. Everything felt very natural and she wasn't in our faces but still got all the great shots. Destiny also did my makeup for the event and gave me exactly what I asked for (something that still looked like me, just an upgraded version!) and was there to calm me down when things got overwhelming. It rained on our wedding day but you would never know in the photos AND she showed up with umbrellas and even a pretty black lace umbrella that matched my dress for me to use! Our photo book was completed in a timely manner and absolutely gorgeous - we've had endless compliments on it and our photos. Destiny is very easy and fun to work with and we recommend her to all our family and friends for their photos.

Destiny is an incredibly talented, professional, and experienced photographer. I have done many photo shoots with her so it was an obvious decision for us to have her a part of our wedding memories. Destiny was kind enough to let me and the bridesmaids take some photos in her studio space. Destiny did her homework prior to our wedding and knew which spots to stop at on the way to the venue. (We had first look photos and all photos done prior to the ceremony). She was open to ideas as well! All the photos we received were perfect and it was hard to choose which we loved best! I hired Destiny of Sweetheart Pinup for my October wedding. She was absolutely amazing and our photos were flawless. She was easy to work with, understood our unique needs and captured our day perfectly. I provided Destiny with a list of events happening during the ceremony and reception as well as important people I wanted to capture moments with and she got all of them and then some. She knew everyone in our family’s names and everyone in our bridal party. We felt special and well taken care of. There were so many amazing shots, it was difficult to decide which to print for frames and an album.
