Josh and Tom were fantastic to work with and did an A+ job at our wedding. They worked with us every step of the way to get a perfect playlist for the reception, processional & recessional, entrances, and first dance. We received so many compliments from our guests about their acoustic cocktail set and the reception playlist had us all dancing until the end! We could not recommend them more!

I cannot say enough great things about Sweep The Leg. Throughout the night, numerous guests of all ages approached my wife and I just to tell us how great the music was. Josh kept the energy level up on the dance floor all night, playing all of our favorites but also mixing in some surprise songs that everyone loved dancing to. He read the dance floor incredibly well and even mixed things up a bit by handing me the mic at one point to sing along to "Born on the Bayou" (my best man had mentioned that I love karaoke in his speech). Josh also stuck to the wedding schedule so well and never missed a beat. Everything was literally perfect.

My wife and I didn't get to hear much of Tom and Josh performing acoustically during our cocktail hour, as our photographer pulled us outside during a break in the rain, but from what we did hear and from what guests told us, Tom is an incredibly talented guitarist and Josh has pipes like John Mayer! These dudes are seriously so multi-talented!

Last but not least, Josh and Tom were also just really awesome guys to be around. I bonded with Josh over our shared love for oldies rock during the lead up to the wedding, and he was equally as personable on the actual day. They both helped make our wedding so stress-free and enjoyable. Working with Sweep The Leg was an absolute pleasure. If you want your wedding to be one that your guests talk about for years, I highly recommend Sweep The Leg as a DJ/acoustic duo.

Sweep the Leg absolutely made my wedding! I had several guests come up and let us know how incredible Josh and Tom were. (They got wedding requests the following morning!) Josh was incredible to work with from the moment I found them, he easily hopped on a call when we needed to talk and responded to emails very quickly.

Due to weather, we had to move our ceremony location indoors which was only decided on 2 hours before the ceremony. A quick text to inform Josh with a response of “got it!” was the perfect response as I felt he understood he didn’t need to remind me of the weather 😉 When I got to the ceremony about 10 minutes before it started, Josh came to say hi and let me know he was all set. I dropped a complete bomb on him, “I am so sorry, we now need to include an additional song as the groomsmen & his parents are walking out now too.”
Again, Josh without hesitation or frustration “Any song in particular or would like me to pick one?” and then Josh was off to set it up. I could not be more thankful for his professionalism, patience and kindness that day with so many things going on.
We hired them to do an acoustic hour during cocktail hour and received incredible reviews immediately, and still getting rave reviews weeks later. Our guests loved having live music!

When we got announced for the reception, my guests were so loud and it made the moment even more exciting. I know without Josh & Tom, the crowd would have not been that loud.
For the rest of the evening, everything was perfect. Songs flowed perfectly and the dance floor was packed. We loved providing a playlist of songs we wanted and let Josh & Tom add in others, we couldn’t have had better songs played.

Do not think twice, hire them immediately and you will not regret it. Thank you both again!

Couldn't be happier with Josh and Tom! We hired them just for DJ services and they kept the dance floor going all night long. Everyone was raving about how fun it was and a lot of that was due to Sweep the Leg. They are incredibly easy to work with as well!

Josh and Tom absolutely delivered at our wedding a couple of weeks ago. At least 10 people complemented us on how good they were , and a couple have followed up asking for the name for their future events.

Not only was the music outstanding, but Josh did an amazing job MC'ing the wedding. We accidentally didn't give him the updated wedding timeline, and despite us being out of sync Josh humourously sidestepped the mistake and kept the party going. He engaged the audience the perfect amount, and pretty much every time he chose to say something it was always funny.

Josh and Tom are the best- we have been to so many weddings and they were honestly the best we’ve ever heard! They truly made our wedding so special. They had the dance floor jam packed from start to finish. Our family and friends could not stop raving about how great the DJ was after and so many have already asked for their contact. From our first conversation right through the wedding, they were so easy to work with. They took a genuine interest in getting to know us as a couple, and tailoring our special night to be exactly what we wanted. Our ceremony was outside on a windy day, but they provided state of the art microphones to ensure that our friends and family could hear us without the wind becoming a factor. During our cocktail hour they sang and played the guitar. Our guests were blown away by how great the vocals were. I would highly recommend Josh and Tom for any event you need music for. Not to mention they are both SO DOWN TO EARTH and easy to talk to. We felt like we’ve known them as friends our whole lives- that is how much effort they put in to make you feel comfortable and at ease - we fully trusted them to get our 200+ wedding party on the dance floor and they kept everyone on the entire night!!! Also appreciated them respecting our “do not play list” and “must play list”! Could not recommend more they are TOP OF THE LINE! Professional , punctual, friendly, kind, FUN, and fully equipped!

Josh and Tom were absolutely fantastic. Everything was absolutely seamless, communication was very easy, and I loved the fact that we were able to put songs that we really wanted played right into a Spotify playlist. Their personalities and skill really got everyone excited and having fun. The dance floor was full from the end of dinner until we had to pull the plug about 4 hours later. The uplighting that was provided completely transformed the venue in the absolute best way as well. I can't recommend them enough!

Sweep the Leg knocked our wedding out of the park!!! As good as it gets right here. I asked Tom for a rock 'n roll band and he gave me the rock 'n roll performance of a lifetime. From the seaside, mood-setting acoustic set at cocktail hour, to the high-energy wedding party introductions and overall MC, to the 5-piece rock band that brought down the house... the tone for an epic night was set early and often. Friends and family are still raving about the music, and several guests have already inquired about future gigs. I could go on and on but not enough good things could be said. If you’re looking for a DJ to book for your wedding or event, book Sweep The Leg. No seriously, book them! You will have no regrets! I found them while searching The Knot…dragged my fiancé and some friends to Boston to listen to them play live and we knew immediately we needed them at our wedding.

Fast forward two years later to our wedding day and they KILLED IT. We could not have been anymore happier with their performance. From the instrumental ceremony that had everyone in tears, to the reception where the dance floor was packed all night! Our guests keep raving about them!

I needed to write a review for Sweep the Leg because they were such a big part of our wedding day! We planned the wedding from out of state so it was sometimes hard to contact and book vendors. I reached out early and Josh was super responsive. Unfortunately, we had to postpone the wedding a year and they accommodated us without issue which was a huge relief. The day of our wedding was actually the first time we met! They are just genuinely nice guys all around and Josh is hilarious! Prior to Josh had us fill us fill out a worksheet to get a feel for the type of music we like. He also sent us a link to create a Spotify list of music for him to pick from and honestly the process of just picking songs was so fun. They provided music for our ceremony, did a live acoustic set for our cocktail hour and DJ'd the whole reception. Josh knew exactly how to get people on the dance floor and loosen up to have a good time. One of my favorite moments was when he played a classic Portuguese song and it got all of the family up and dancing. I honestly had a complete blast and was on the dance floor all night. I had so, so much fun and wish I could relive that night again and again. I could not have asked for a better team for my wedding. Do not hesitate, book them now!! Thank you so incredibly much guys ♥
