Suwan was born in northern Thailand, north of Chaing Mai. As an orphan, she had a Cinderella-like childhood. She met and married an American physician. Moreover, her dream to become a photographer has come true.

Suwan has been regularly shooting pictures since 1993. After moving to Maryland in 1995, she received her degree in photography from Montgomery College. In March 2004, she started her own business, Suwan Photography, and has now shot 80 weddings.

Suwan is passionate about her photography. This passion, combined with a fascination with the beauty of weddings, as well as an easygoing and pleasant demeanor, has made her a sought after wedding photographer.
