This band can play anything, covers from every era and gets everyone dancing. The frontman Henry Lange is a magnetic and generous band leader with a great voice. He and his band are made up of excellent professional musicians. We heard them in a couple of clubs and he played for our son's wedding party, for lots of ages and tastes. He got everyone dancing and helped to create a super fun evening. He also DJ'd when the band was not playing.
Additionally, we booked SuperBad before the pandemic when we expected 200 people at this event. Henry impressed with his clear and responsive communications. Expectations were very clear, negotiations were easy and when everything got cancelled due to the pandemic, we rescheduled a couple of times, and Henry continued to be responsive and communicative. He was great to work with, and the fee remained the same despite multiple rescheduling and a two year delay.
We highly recommend SuperBad as a great dance band and wonderful for a lively party.

Extremely professional, experienced and flexible. They coached us through the whole process and had covered things we hadn't even considered. It was like having a wedding planner, band, DJ, and MC all-in-one.

Hank and his team are extremely versatile too, able to accommodate any theme. We wanted the best of both worlds (traditional towards the beginning & high energy party vibe towards the end) and SuperBad was more than able to meet our needs. There's nothing this team can't do.

We opted to go for a DJ instead of a band for our wedding. We hired DJ Hank from Super Bad and he was kick a**. Never seen so many people of all ages on the dance floor for so long!! We have had the pleasure of seeing Super Bad the band many times at various venues in California and Nevada and they are awesome as well, our wedding just worked out better to have one DJ vs a Band. Highly recommend them all. Hank was great to work with and helped us plan music for our ceremony entrance, ceremony exit, cocktail hour, etc. I am not kidding about the all ages of people dancing either - we had family and friends ranging from 8 years old - 88 years old! So many people complimented us on the music after our big day, Hank played a little bit of something for everyone. Hank and Super Bad have become more of a friend than a vendor over the years since our wedding and we couldn't be more thankful. If you're on the fence just know.... YOU SHOULD HAVE BOOKED THEM YESTERDAY!!! Go get to it!!

If you want people to be talking about how good your wedding was for weeks/months/years after, then you have to hire this band!!! I still have people asking me what was that great band played at my wedding!

First off I've known about this band for like 10 YEARS! They are lively, rocking, just an overall good time. I knew after the first couple times seeing them play at the local spots that this would be my wedding band. They keep up with current music while still playing all the hits that get people on the dance floor. The front-man Henry knows how to work a room to get people grooving.

To start; the booking procedure was easy. Sent them an email with venue/dates and got a response back from Henry quickly. As soon as I had my deposit down the date was locked in. With COVID we had to reschedule and he followed up multiple times to check in on the new date to make sure he had it open for my event. He let me know what he needed in terms of a song list and schedule (even gave me examples which helped since I had no idea where to start). Even my wedding coordinator said they was a pleasurer to work with.

Day of Henry showed up early to get everything set up. He also helped with the cocktail hour music and speeches. Then once it was time, his band kicked it off! When I got back from taking pictures........ THE ENTIRE WEDDING GUESTLIST WAS ON THE DANCE FLOOR IN FULL SWING! I mean people I didn't even think would dance where GETTING DOWN! Henry was doing what he does best, moving around the room and encoring people to boogie. He likes to have fun with it, dancing with the crowd and throws in a playful "growl" every so often.
The music they plays is everything from Disco, Queen, Bon Jovi, Country, Katy Petty, Bruno Mars, White Snake, Journey, even some Rap!!! I mean you name he does it. And if you give him enough heads up, they could probably learn it for you.

The band wears some cool costumes, very funky. Cowboy hats, Boas, metallic pants, etc. They really set the mood for their funky music set. I highly encourage anyone looking at this band to go see them live first because the energy they bring was really what made me choose them. They play across the Bay Area and bring a crowd to whatever venue they play. Matter of fact, I'm going to see them play again tonight! I honestly can't get enough SUPERBAD!!!

Superbad was my husband and I's guilty pleasure at our local bar. When we got married, we always knew we wanted them to play at our wedding. Hank and the band were the perfect combo of fun yet professional that we wanted for our special day. Our favorite thing was how engaging they were with the guests! The next day all we heard was that our band was the BEST thing ever. Superbad played a perfect mix of cover songs that engaged all ages. Hank was so easy to work with, took requests, was so accommodating, everything you hope for in a vendor for your wedding. If you are looking for a live band for your wedding HIRE SUPERBAD, you will not regret it!!

Hank DJ'd our wedding, and he is the absolute BEST! He played everything we needed and wanted, and was able to use his professional touch to fill in any gaps. Looking for a live band? Superbad performed at my wedding 5/5/18. It was an incredible experience working with them. They are extremely professional, reliable, and handled everything seamlessly. I first found them at a bar in SF and knew I had to have them perform at my wedding. We then went and watched them at a bar in San Jose, and sealed the deal. Henry always got back to me, day of, for all of my emails with questions. I sent him my timeline and request for songs and he nailed it. I can't say enough about this band, WHAT A BLAST!! To this day, people still talk about them and how much fun they had! THANK YOU!

Hank and Superbad the Band were an absolute blast to have play at our wedding. Hank handled all the sound throughout the ceremony, and then joined the band to play throughout our reception. He asked ahead of time what songs we wanted them to include, and added to our list based on what he thought our preferences would be (he was spot on about all of the additions). From the beginning of the wedding planning process until the end of our wedding, Hank was incredibly professional and fun to work with. It all went so smoothly, and even ended with Hank and my dad jamming out to Bon Jovi together. The crowd went completely wild. Seriously, if you’re looking for a really fun band for your wedding - this is it.

Hiring Super Bad was one of the best decisions we could have made for our wedding. The owner Henry was always quick to respond and very accommodating to our requests. The most important thing was how much fun the entire wedding party had. They had everyone dancing from our young nieces, to our grandparents. After the wedding all everyone talked about was how fun the band was. I highly recommend Super Bad, they will the icing on the cake to your perfect day!
