The absolute BEST! Our friends and family still talk about how incredible our band was... it was the highlight of our wedding! If you're thinking about hiring Smash City, just do it. You won't regret it!

WOW. Paul and his crew are total rockstars!!! My husband and I actually found Paul during a stressful time: our original wedding band canceled on us 2 weeks before our wedding. Paul was the first person I called and just talking to him made me feel better. He is a kind and genuine person, and he accommodated us every step of the way. Even though he only had two weeks to prepare, Paul and his team absolutely killed it at our wedding! I’ve lost count of the number of guests who came up to us and told us that Smash City Band was the best live band they have ever seen. One of our groomsmen is a professional musician, and he could not stop raving about how phenomenal each member of Smash City was. He said this multiple times during the wedding night and then called us the next day to reiterate that point. Paul and his band not only saved our wedding, but they were also the reason why our wedding was so much fun and the best night ever for us and all of our guests. They were easily the highlight of our wedding, and they made us thankful that our original band canceled on us! I cannot recommend and praise Paul and Smash City enough!!!! Please hire them so I can crash your event and enjoy their performance again (haha jk about crashing your event! But I’m serious about you hiring them…)

This is the best wedding band I have ever seen. We had the great fortune of having Paul and Smash City play for our wedding and everything was amazing. From the conversations with Paul to the way they kept the crowd on the dance floor, everything was PERFECT. These guys keep the energy coming all night and the array of music was just great. Compliments keep coming in about the band and we could have danced all night. It is not often that the crowd is chanting "One More Song" for a wedding band - but Paul and his team made it happen! THANK YOU Smash City - you guys rocked our wedding!

WOW!! One of the best decisions we made in wedding vendors. Extremely responsive and easy to work with. The band had EVERYONE (even Grandma) dancing the entire night. Great variety of music, incredible energy and the talent is off the charts. People are still talking about how much fun they had dancing the night away at the wedding. Absolutely incredible band and helped make our wedding perfect.

We weren't sure if we were going to hire a band or a DJ. Once we came across Smash City, at a friend's recommendation, we were sold. And on our wedding day, they were just amazing!! Paul and his team were so great to work with, going above and beyond to make everything perfect. They tailored the songs they played to fit our tastes, and they had everyone dancing the entire night. Extremely professional and talented, this group just blew us away. Highly recommend!!!!

Played at our wedding during the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dancing. They were quite simply incredible; can't count the number of people that came up to us during and after the wedding to say how great they were. Dance floor was always high-energy and packed (and that's in contrast to a few other weddings we've been to where the dancing never quite took off).

During planning, Paul was receptive to our instructions (which were complicated in some instances), and offered well-reasoned advice based on his extensive experience when we needed it. He also visited the venue (despite travel time involved).

To try and give this review a bit of balance (and hopefully make you take note of all the positive stuff), I'll say that on occasion email responses were not always timely. But Paul is super responsive over phone. And let's be honest - the priority is crushing the event - which they did!

If you're like us, and a great party and guests having fun is a high priority, then go band, not DJ, and go with Smash City.

Of course if you've read a few glowing reviews of bands and are thinking they're all the same/great, contact Paul and go and see them in a bar (we saw a few bands this way). You will quickly realize Smash City is head and shoulders above the rest.
