About

Sunnybrae Mansion is a farm wedding venue in Milford, Delaware. Built in 1937, the three-story mansion is set just minutes away from Lewes Beach, Rehoboth Beach, and Ocean City, Maryland. The 6,800-square-foot mansion is furnished with beautiful antiques and features a Flemish bond brick section, set in between frame sun porches and covered by a slate roof. Featuring vintage architecture, this venue hosts wedding ceremonies and receptions.

Facilities and Capacity

Sunnybrae Mansion can host up to 500 guests in its six event spaces. It has 20-foot-tall fluted pillars with huge, ornate, Corinthian-style cornices. Sunnybrae Mansion features hardwood flooring throughout and a dance floor with a bar. It also has a grand entrance that leads down to a long driveway and into the well-maintained estate, which is ideal for hosting outdoor ceremonies and receptions.

Segal Wedding 6/7/25

We had our wedding here on June 7th 2025. We stayed all weekend at the venue and it was such a magical experience! The property itself is gorgeous with amazing landscaping which allows for the best pictures. There’s many different locations on the property to have the ceremony and take plenty of photos. The mansion offered plenty of space for the wedding party to stay and get ready the wedding day. The reception hall was our favorite. Its new yet rustic charm was just what we envisioned for our big day. It held 170 guest comfortably and the big garage doors leading to the patio made it feel even bigger. Through the whole process Lynn was very responsive, accommodating, and helpful. He was flexible with arrival times and getting checked in/out and made sure we had everything we needed for the weekend. I feel blessed to have found Sunnybrae Mansion and would do it over and over again if I had to!

My husband and I got married at Sunnybrae Mansion on July 1. The grounds are breathtaking and looked beautiful in all of my pictures. My photographer loved all the choices for photos. We got married under the willow tree and we had a tented reception in the side yard. There is so much room to decorate! The owners are so wonderful to work with and so flexible. We were able to use our local vendors and band with no issue! The inside of the mansion has many areas where you can get ready! It was perfect having the guys on one floor and the girls on another. From the amazing long tree lined driveway to the weeping willow, Sunnybrae is a great choice for your outdoor wedding!

Me and my husband loved having our wedding at sunnybrea! Not only was it a historic setting it was beautiful! The outside reception was dream like. Not to mention the owners were very attentive and accommodated us in anyway they could. We looked at tons of place before decideding on this one, this was the most reasonably priced, we defiantly got the bang for our buck! We had the rehearsal dinner there, has the whole day before to set up and we're welcome to come back the day after to clean up. If your looking for an outside wedding with a historic garden feel, call the sunneybrea mansion!
