Brantwyn Estate is a premier wedding venue situated in Wilmington, Delaware. This estate is conveniently located near Philadelphia's International Airport. When couples exchange their vows here, they will experience this venue's rich history. In fact, this historic estate once served as the du Pont family's home. You will experience this gorgeous Georgian home with your loved ones on your wedding day as you create new memories.
Facilities and Capacity
The Brantwyn Estate rests on a total of 60 acres in the Brandywine Valley. This acreage is made up of plenty of wooded areas, as well as gently rolling hills. This country estate is perfect for bridal showers, engagement parties, rehearsal dinners, ceremonies, elopements, and receptions. Couples can enjoy this property with up to 170 of their friends and family. This estate features two floors and a total of eleven rooms. The interior style is elegant and even features an expansive garden surrounding the estate. If you would like, you are welcome to use this formal garden for your wedding photographs. We can accommodate larger receptions by utilizing a tent on the property. You will also be provided with a bridal suite to use. Regardless of what time of year you choose to exchange your vows in, you will be able to enjoy an elegant interior surrounded by a stunning natural exterior.

A magical place for a wedding
We were initially concerned about having our wedding guest split between rooms as opposed to 1 large ballroom, but it worked great. Guests circulated. Those who wanted a quiet area to talk could easily find one while the party animals danced in another part of the house.
