We used Sun Travel to accommodate out-of-town guests travel to and from the wedding and reception. They were also able to accommodate travel for wedding party. Aside from being a little uncertain when and where the last bus was coming to pick folks up after the "after-party," I had a perfect experience with Sun Travel. Would certainly recommend them!

Nice cars, good prices

We had a horrible experience with Sun Travel. We contracted them for 2 coach buses. One of the coach buses was downgraded to a 29 pax shuttle bus without any notice. The plan was to provide transportation for our guests from the hotel in The Woodlands to our venue in Huntsville (appox 40 mins).

Everything was great during our communications with sales the weeks leading up to our wedding. Things started off poorly just before the wedding. I (groom) received a call from the driver about 20 mins prior to the scheduled pickup time for our guests. He indicated he was running late. About 15 mins after the scheduled pickup time I called him back for an update. To my surprise he said he was lost in 'New Wavely.' This made me panic because that is the location of our venue, NOT the pickup point which is 40 mins away. The buses turned around and arrived at the hotel almost 1 hour late. This resulted in the guests showing up to our wedding late forcing us to delay the start by about 20 minutes.

Things got worse for the trip home! At 10:45 the guests started loading into the buses for the return trip home. One of the coach buses would not start. Our guests were forced to wait outside in total chaos for about an hour trying tot figure out how to get home. The remaining (small bus that was swapped) was loaded with as many people as possible. It was standing room front to back down the aisle and not the comfortable ride we contacted for. The guests who could not fit on the bus were forced to find alternate transportation home! Guests finally arrived back at the hotels about 12:30am ( 1hr late).

The kicker was that even after we tipped both drivers double the suggested amount, I received a call on my phone at 2:30AM (on my wedding night) from one of the drivers asking for an additional tip!

This experience was horrible! Our bus broke down. We were later told that the reason they swapped our bus was because the one we contracted broke down the night prior! Stay away!
