A rustic and country-style winery and banquet hall in Des Moines, Iowa, Summerset Winery is the ideal location for a unique wedding or private event. Their goal is to help you make magical memories, regardless of the month or season. The winery is conveniently located just outside of downtown Des Moines in Indianola.

With two banquet rooms, surrounding decks, and outdoor grounds, Summerset Winery is ideal for couples looking for a ceremony and reception venue that offers both indoor and uncovered outdoor spaces. With seating for up to 250 guests in the Grand Banquet Room and an optional vineyard cocktail location underneath a beautiful oak tree, Summerset Winery is a 12-acre vineyard with a large dance floor perfect for your reception. For you and your guests, The Inn at Summerset is located steps away from the winery and can sleep up to 26 people. The Inn at Summerset was originally built as a bed and breakfast, but is now available for a “whole house” rental that includes:

• 10 bedrooms and seven bathrooms
• One master bedroom with a whirlpool bath and shower and private balcony
• Three suites with private baths
• Two bedrooms with private baths
• Four bedrooms with shared baths
• Two fully functioning kitchens
• Two living areas

Couples are welcome to host any sized event at the winery, including engagement parties, bridal showers, ceremonies, and receptions. Summerset Winery provides setup and cleanup, as well as accommodations for those who request it. For event items, couples can choose to rent the following:

Other Services
Summerset Winery also allows couples access to the Grand Banquet Hall at 10:00 a.m. the morning of their event to decorate. For photographs, the couple will be able to access the grounds beginning at 10:00 a.m., as well. The venue also provides couples with eight hours of event time, including the ceremony and reception. For those who desire to host a bar, hard liquor needs to be purchased and served through a licensed bartending service while all wine and beer must be purchased through Summerset Winery.
