I cannot say enough good things about Natasha and Sugar Willow Events! By far, the best decision we made was to choose them to help coordinate our wedding. Our original date was October 2020 with planning starting in 2019. We had picked and signed with all major vendors by the beginning of 2020 when the shut downs began. Natasha was the calming presence during that time and we made the decision to postpone to 2021. The ease (to my perception) of which we were able to reschedule with the vendors was amazing! Natasha took as much stress as possible out of a situation that was both sad and stressful for couple to face.
Fast forward to our wedding day and and it was POURING rain at what was supposed to be our outdoor ceremony. Luckily, the venue had a tent and we can honestly say we fully trusted Natasha and her team to make it just as special inside as it was supposed to be outside, and they did! Natasha, Bailey and Cassie were AMAZING that day!! Not one drop of rain fell on my head thanks to Cassie and her umbrella work and they flipped the indoor reception space into the most beautiful ceremony space. Then they flipped it to cocktail hour...and then to dinner. We didn't even see how they did it, it was so seamless. These women work magic if you ask me and I can't recommend them enough. Natasha and her team did such an incredible job with my wedding; they made sure everything was completely perfect. We are so happy we found Natasha and her team to plan our wedding! She was so easy to work with, very responsive to email and very organized! As an out of state Mother of the Bride, Natasha's knowledge of local vendors was invaluable. While we found the venue before choosing Sugar Willow, she gave us countless great suggestions, and always multiple options, on other vendors, especially in the area of design and floral, rentals, signage, hair and make-up, etc. And once we were inside of two weeks, she coordinated with ALL of our vendors (including venue, hotel, photographer and videographer, DJ, caterer, etc.). Natasha built great timelines that meant the "day of" ran like a well greased machine. No detail was too small to be included and the Sugar Willow Events team executed things flawlessly on my daughter's wedding day!

Being the mother of a 2020 Bride had unique challenges, and through it all, Natasha communicated frequently with us (conference calls , emails and Zoom) , keeping abreast of state, county and venue guidelines which were constantly changing. She was the stress-releasing presence during months of uncertainty, and kept my bride (and me) calm. For that alone, we will forever be grateful! She was a wonderful sounding board, and as the MOB, if I had a different idea from my daughter, I could ask, "Natasha, in your experience....?" and it didn't seem like I was telling my daughter what to do...but make know mistake, the wedding was our daughter's vision and thanks to Sugar Willow her wedding matched that vision!

The day before the wedding, Natasha ran a very efficient rehearsal and while a bit non-traditional, she had the brilliant suggestion to seat the parents of the Bride and Groom on the opposite sides of their daughter and son. This meant that during the ceremony, I was seeing my daughter's face and not the back of her head (the same for the Groom's parents).

Natasha's guidance on when to to what, how to set up a reception with Social Distancing, suggestions on vendor gratuities and so much more, took the guesswork out of planning a wedding. Most of all, she allowed this Mother of the Bride to be relaxed and enjoy my only daughter's wedding day from start to finish! When the last song had had been played and guests were departing, she had everything pack and ready to load! The day still went by so quickly, but thanks to Sugar Willow Events, I enjoyed every moment!

As you begin to plan your wedding, you'll soon find out that you have an entirely new language to learn- having someone guide you through the process and ensure your vision is executed perfectly is the best investment you will make for your day! After interviewing many coordinators, we picked Natasha because she had it all- awesome design skills, industry connections, a fun and supportive attitude, all while clearly being super organized and all business.

In the beginning of our journey, Natasha helped us figure out just how to bring our vision to life. She had amazing design concepts and feedback, a vendor for each and every detail, and the most epic timeline to keep everyone on track! Any question or concern was quickly answered and any tricky situation quickly troubleshooted.

Then...COVID. The pandemic hit 5 months before our date, talk about bringing a super emotional time to the next level of stress. We truly would not have made it through in one piece without Natasha- she was tuned into all the latest industry updates and local guidelines, and was a neutral, objective team-member that held our hand through a really tough through months. A few calls we had were basically just for the moral support of me and my Mom, as there were no answers, and no firm direction. Most of all during this time, I am so thankful that Natasha put US first. I heard horror stories of other planners scaring their clients, closing up shop, or forcing them into one decision or another. Natasha was ready and willing to go the direction we wanted to go, and when we decided we were going to make our wedding happen on whatever scale we could, she was with us every step of the way and helped us adjust every one of our plans to ensure we had a fun and safe event. We are 3 weeks out now and truly pulled it off. With 96 people (legal in our county in CO) in a super large venue (half of our initial guest list), we had zero COVID cases! I am confident that all the effort we put into our safety plans really made a difference.

Most importantly, on day of- Natasha and Team were phenomenal. Calm, supportive, professional, and handling every detail seamlessly. My Mom, Husband, and I got to sit back and enjoy the day. Every detail , every vendor, every set-up was taken care of. Your wedding day goes by so fast, the last thing you need to do is be worrying about all of that too. With Sugar Willow on deck, I had complete confidence that all would come together. And boy, did it. Our day was a little different than originally anticipated given the times, but truly perfect and all we could ever want for a 2020 wedding. We are SO thankful for Natasha and team and know you will be too!

We hired her and not only did she do an exceptional job helping us plan our wedding by ensuring that our wishes were carried out on our wedding day but also with finding vendors we struggled with. She helped us find vendors (photographer, videographer, and transportation) within our budget and with the qualities we were looking for. Even post wedding day, Natasha followed up to ensure vendors fulfilled their obligation. She was even there to fight with us while we had a tough and uncomfortable situation with one of the vendors. We hired Natasha for day of set up and coordination. So happy we did! It was wonderful to have someone who knew what they were doing and help us along the way. She did such a good job answering all questions ahead of time and day of. She was supportive and ready to help in any way possible. It was nice meeting with her ahead of time and being able to call or email her with anything we needed help with. Having them there to help decorate and lay everything out was extremely helpful. Working with Natasha was a great experience from the very start. She was attentive, had suggestions that I would not have dreamed of and our event was just beautiful. She turned a covered pavilion with cement floors into a lovely tulle draped venue for our wedding reception. She is the best!
