This was our third year of ordering cakes from Sucre Sophies and as always Grace exceeded all the expectations. This time the theme of the birthday was Wings of Fire. The cake with scales! Grace was very flexible to satisfy our requests regarding light cream, and flavors we wanted. The feedback from the girls was 'I have never eaten such a delicious cake in my life!'

We had seen her baked goods on instagram, they were simply beautiful. A family friend had also brought us a pecan pie from sucre sophies, it was delicious. Not the over sweetened, goo filled pecan pie you see at many places but a well balanced flavor and fresh pecans.

So when our event came, we had no doubts where we would order the cake from. We reached out with a request. She informed us of the variety of cakes, fillings and made gentle suggestions. In our conversation, it became obvious that she really wanted to customize precisely to our liking. We were more focused on aesthetics. We had been to many weddings and birthdays and usually, the cake taste was not that important, but the image was.
On the day of our event, the cake was absolutely delicious. People were constantly asking who we ordered from. The cake had a lightness but very moist, which kept it rich. The cream and filling were not too sweet and not heavy so the cake flavor came through well balanced. The color was gorgeous! Very natural looking tones. We ordered a larger size but people kept having extra serving. Well worth the price.
