Ela and Jason.

Ela has a long time love-love relationship with photography. She learned how to take a crisp photograph since her little tike years, when she learned that her mother managed to take all of their family vacation photos in a crooked manner. Ela went to art school at University of Michigan and Kendall College of Art and Design. Her favorite thing in the whole world is seeing happy people having fantastic times and celebrating life. So much so that she worked at catering companies for 8 years while in high school and College just to get the gist of all the important detail work in weddings. Her favorite shots focus on detail work, birght color and textures.

Jason started photographing people at a very young age when his mother let him use her camera at a relatives wedding. From that day the story goes on- while working for American Red Cross, he became the events photographer for many of the fundraisers. Other events include, mixed martial arts, public speakers, and liveonlineconcerts.com events. With all of his event photography, Jason has been able to grasp his true passion of capturing on those brief moments in time that tell a story.

Ela Jason met at an Art Gallery opening for their friend Tim Reese (you should really check out his stuff!) and were instantly hooked on each other. :) From then, studiofinch was born.
