Mindy has been excellent! She has worked several shoots with me, an engagement session, and a wedding! She is amazing when it comes to setting up tables and designing a table scape! Everything from the cake to the flowers! She has amazing deals and comes highly recommended! I can not wait for my children's birthdays to come around so she can make their cakes!

Stover's did a cake for me equal to a wedding cake for my Sister's 50th surprise birthday party. The cake was fabulous. Before I saw the finish product, I bragged to all the guest about how excited I was to see the cake. Mindy delivered in a big way. The whole process was enjoyable. Mindy was very professional and friendly. She paid attention to my ideas and thoughts as if she was designing her own cake. The price was afordable in addition to free perks {fresh roses for free, fireworks for free, etc....} The cake choices was butter pound with cream cheese {bottom layerr}, butter pound with fresh strawberries {2nd layer}, red velvet with cream cheese {top layer}. OMG words can not describe the appearance of the cake and the way it tasted. Usually you get one or the other, pretty cake but taste awful or good tasting cake that looks awful. Well let me tell you, I got both. All the guest commented on the appearance of the cake but once it was cut, the cake became the highlight of the party. Fantastical!!!! Way to go Mindy on a job well done. We will be back for every event if it requires a cake or not. Do not miss out on Stover's!!!!!!

she did my wedding cake, i was very pleased with the price, design and flavors of the cake. she did a 3tier cake , with italian cream cake(with fresh strawberries), mexican chocolate cake and a carrot cake. all the flavors were very yummy!! the cake was beautiful! way more than i would of expected! i have worked with her ever since then. i go to her for all of my families birthday cakes! i would recommend her to anyone!

Mindy provided our rentals and chair covers for my wedding. I will start off by saying that the reception room was beautiful when she finished decorating. It was not very easy to get in touch with her, especially via email. We almost went elsewhere when we couldn't seem to get a price quote. I also have to mention that we rented 8 large vases for our centerpieces, which she only brought 6 of the size we ordered. She said she would come back before our wedding and swap out the correct ones for the two smaller ones she had in their place, but she never came back :-(.

Mindy was very polite, and the cake tasting was fantastic. She made a box of different flavored cupcakes for us to take home and try to help us decide on what flavors we wanted our wedding cake to be. I gave her pictures of both the wedding cake and the groom's cake. The wedding cake was very pretty, although looking at pictures of it now, I found that one tier of the cake has no decorations at all, and it was supposed to have piping detail. The ribbon on the cake was supposed to be edible, but she used real ribbon instead, not sure why. The groom's cake was supposed to be a beer bottle cap, it was very cute, but didnt quite look like a cap...but still it was cute. Both cakes tasted fantastic. My only gripe is I cannot get ahold of Mindy. She hardly responds to emails and never answers the phone. She has not returned my $100 cake stand deposit, of which she ended up not even using the cake stand. I have been trying to contact her for almost 4 weeks now about getting my refundable deposit back....and now it has been over a month and Mindy will not answer the phone or respond to my emails about returning the cake stand deposit. Extrememly unprofessional, and at this point in time I would not recommend her to anyone.

She did a really good job on the wedding cake,but the grooms cake was all wrong.She got the flowers for the guys and parents,but did not bring pins for them.Asked for them said she was going to get them and just left.Cake was great but think she had to much to do are something,but did not think you should go with her.Her price is really good,but needs to work on better way to keep up with her cakes that have to be made.Not just write on piece of paper then lose it.

First things first - my wedding cake was fantastic! It was decorated beautifully and tasted great. Mindy was very courteous and professional during our contacts, even if she was slow to respond to emails and phone calls. Her prices were very resonable and she even offered to match and beat other quotes! I would recommend this business if you are utilizing the cake services only- however :
The day before the wedding: She calls to let me know she hasn't finished pressing the chair sashes but she is coming over to deliver and finish pressing the sashes there, which I encouraged. She showed up, but said she forgot the tablecloths and napkins. I told her I would continue pressing the sashes while she went to retrieve the tablecloths and napkins.
As I am removing sashes to iron, they are still tied in bows from the last function they were used at. It takes 4 1/2 hours for her to return,I at this point have completed the pressing of all the sashes, he informs me she was unable to locate the napkins so she had to go rent them from another company. the tablecloths were spotted with food and had not been pressed. Which I helped press as we put them on the tables after finding the cleanest side to display on the table. She brought charges for the table for free and decorated the cake table to compensate for some of the inconveniences.
The wedding day:
She was supposed to print photos from our engagement session to hand out to family which did not happen.
At the reception:
She was supposed to provide an 8x10 signature mat with a photo that we selected from our engagement pictures - when asked where it was - she said she wasn't able to pick up the prints. I received the CD of my pictures within 2 weeks as promised! The pictures weren't fantastic- not awful- but nothing special.I hired a professional so they could do their magic! We had several shots of people with their eyes closed, very few touch up done to the photos that had any touch ups done at all.

This is a before and after shot of the cake I requested versus the one I received. It was supposed to be buttercream with piped on chocolate - instead I got this lumpy, leaning fondant mess. She didn't use dowels in my cake. She used drinking straws, like the blue striped drinking straws (which accounts for the leaning). I cannot account for the taste because I was seething at the very sight of it.

This lady ruined my whole wedding. It wasnt a bad wedding but its not what i dreamed of my whole life. My father passed away and I was using jewelry that he gave me plus alot of other expensive jewelry for my wedding bouquet, and it supposedly was "stolen" from her van. And when we met up she said her van was broken in to and then her story changed to her van was hit but there was no damage to her van.Futher more her and the people she recommended were completely incompetent. Nothing was decorated right the stuff i specifically bought for my wedding wasnt used at all. I didnt get to walk down the isle to any musice. The D.J. cursed out my mother. My cake was completely damaged and melting and it was inside. Also the cake wasnt what I ordered anx was NASTY. My family really aren't picky eaters and no one touched the cake. I was charger for a bunch of stuff I didnt even get. She left the mens boutineers at a different location and said it was my fault. My recommendation is DO NOT USE AT ALL!
