"Let a new life happen to you."
A quote I've lived my life by after September 6, 2017, the day I survived the strongest storm in Atlantic history, Category 5 Hurricane Irma. That day, life as I knew it was gone forever. My job as a wedding photographer was destroyed, as our island was stripped bare of all the natural vibrance that attracted couples-to-be, and the resorts that hosted events were flattened. My home was wrecked, the roof having caved in and my belongings all water-logged. But throughout it all, my most prized possessions remained - the people I love, the people in my community, the people who come back to this island year after year to feel its charm; and my camera to capture all of their stories.
Since then I have continued capturing love in all forms, starting with an engagement session in the hurricane wreckage, continuing to multi-day weddings at a fairytale castle in the Loire Valley of France at Chateau Challain. However, I have also found a new passion that takes up the majority of my days with documenting 'Love In the Ruins,' disasters and rebirths, personal stories of struggle and strength, and creating fundraisers for these causes with my photography. For example:
Overall, if it helps another, I’m game for it. I learned within the last year, very quickly, that life is too short. Not only did almost losing my life in a Category 5 hurricane (6 if you ask me!) teach me to cherish every breath, but losing my father suddenly last year prior to the hurricanes taught me to appreciate each day to the fullest. You never know how much time you have.
Your life is your message to the world. The legacy you leave behind is important. That’s why I make sure mine is inspiring.

Love our photos from Love City
Anne is sensational to work with! Her genuine and sweet personality makes you feel very comfortable from start to finish. My fiance and I used to live in the Virgin Islands and it is where we got engaged. It is such a beautiful place and is a very special place for both of us. We were looking for someone to capture the magic of the islands in our engagement photos and Anne at STJ Creative was that person! Due to circumstances out of our control, we had to cancel our initial appointment. Anne was very understanding and was able to adjust her calendar to reschedule our shoot during our short stay in the islands. We had a blast snapping photos all over Mongoose Junction and Cruz Bay. We had even more fun going through all the photos and selecting the perfect ones to have edited. I had discussed some of my ideas with Anne before the shoot. She took those ideas and with her creativity, she nailed it! Our photos turned out exactly as we had envisioned as she captured a little bit of magic in each one. I am so grateful and thankful for the moments she was able to capture. We had a wonderful experience and would recommend anyone looking to have professional photos done to reach out to Anne!Sent on 07/17/2019

Repeat client, ALWAYS love the results!
I have hired Anne as our family photographer for multiple years now, and every time I am beyond pleased with the results. She's so laid back, funny, and quickly feels like part of the family. My kids love her, and for someone who doesn't like being in front of the camera, she gets me to relax to the point we forget she's even there. Highly recommend!Sent on 12/11/2018
