Tie the Knot STL is comprised of two officiants. Steven Delaney is the principal and owner. Steven began his wedding officiant commission in Washington, DC in 2006. He has worked with couples across the country and in October of 2016 performed his 500th marriage ceremony. Along with being an officiant, Steven has worked with clergy & social activist groups on same-sex and marriage equality. He partnered with DC Clergy United & the Human Rights Campaign to bring Marriage Equality to Washington, DC and eventually all the United States. Steven has been honored for his excellence in quality and service by Wedding Wire and Thumbtack. Wedding Wire named him a 2017 Couples Choice winner. . In the fall of 2017, Steven was inducted into the International Association of Professional Wedding Officiants (IAPWO).

Mary J. (Judy) Delaney has joined Tie the Knot STL as an associate officiant. Judy a former professional radio DJ has an extensive background in events. She is a mother of two, one being Steven. She and her husband of 43 years, Tim enjoy golf and traveling. Judy primarily focuses on the non-religious ceremonies or those with just a small bit of religion.
