I can not express how much I appreciate Stephen's work for our wedding (but I'll give it a try). From the first time we met, I could tell he was exactly what I was looking for. Someone who could take a group of dorky introverts and make them look like the stars of the show without making us feel silly or stressed. On the day of our wedding, he was able to keep up with our crazy huge wedding party and fast paced timeline. He was a hit with my family, my grandmother is still talking about how sweet he was and what a great job he did. After the wedding he took a couple weeks to edit the photos( a very quick turnaround in my opinion). I was absolutely dazzled. The moments he was able to capture will be celebrated in the family album for decades. I would recommend Stephen to anyone that wants a beautiful and personal photography experience that will truly reflect the soul of his subjects.

Stephen Tang is an awesome guy and a fantastic photographer. He had us do an engagement shoot and it was a great opportunity to get to know him. He has a great eye for shots and how to pose us. As newly transplanted residents to California, we found Stephen Tang Photo on weddingwire as a suggested vendor for our wedding. Upon our first meeting with Stephen it was an absolute ah ha moment for us. We knew we needed to have Stephen photograph our special day. Stephen was very thorough in describing what he had to offer and answering any question or concerns we had.
The day arrived and Stephen was there. Most of the time we didn't even notice his presence, but we knew he was out there capturing moments that we could not be part of.

We loved working with Stephen! He was professional and accommodating throughout the whole process of working with him. One of the most special things that Stephen has a talent for is taking candid photos and telling the story of the day through his photos. He captured so many unposed moments of people throughout the whole wedding day. We love seeing those real moments. From visibly being able to see the fun people were having to the joy that was felt to the dance moves and everything in between. Stephen was more than a photographer, he basically helped me plan my elopement. He talked me through the pros and cons of various locations, and helped me think through the process of obtaining a license for photography. He took time to understand that we were striving for a simple, but intimate wedding; he was patient with our cranky 2 year old; and endlessly gracious with our elderly parents who were along for the ride. Importantly, my husband and I are terrible at being photographed (we are awkward) and Stephen made us feel at ease with our surroundings. I would hire Stephen again in a heartbeat.
