St Joe Farm LLC, located in Granger, Indiana, is a rustic wedding venue. This charming setting dates back to 1852, and its history is intertwined with the University of Notre Dame and its surrounding communities. Originally, the farm operated as a way to produce food for the growing population, including fruit, vegetables, and livestock. Today, the privately-owned farm offers a quaint space to celebrate your love.

Facilities and Capacity

St Joe Farm covers 1,200 acres of picturesque pastoral land and features 29 different structures and outbuildings. One such structure is the lovingly restored Saint Joseph's Barn. Here, wooden beams and high ceilings create a rustic space for your wedding festivities. The barn can comfortably accommodate up to 275 guests. It also houses a get-ready space for the to-be-weds to use while they finish their final preparations. It is illuminated by glittering chandeliers, while air conditioning offers comfort for the hotter months. The barn can be easily decorated to align with your design scheme. As the celebrations draw to a close, you can mingle with your loved ones under the stars on the spacious deck. Outside, lush farmland surrounds the barn and offers a beautiful backdrop for photos. Various outdoor ceremony sites are dotted across the grounds.

Services Offered

The team at St Joe Farm offers various event rentals to help you make the most of your time here. This includes 12 handmade barn tables and 10 round tables for memorable meals. Two additional tables can be provided for gifts or other displays. The barn can be fitted with a number of vintage bars for those all-important celebratory toasts. Staff from the farm will remain onsite for any last-minute questions.

Cuisine

Catering at the barn is provided exclusively by Navarre Catering and Events. This culinary team works from the barn's catering kitchen, preparing all manner of delicious meals. You can choose to have a classic seated banquet meal, or opt for sophisticated hors d'oeuvres to eat while you catch up with your guests. Servers are on hand to help the meal run smoothly.

Highly recommend SJF for your wedding venue!

My husband and I worked with Jill leading up to the wedding; she was accommodating and responsive. She answered all our questions and would respond within the hour or no later than the day of my email which made it easy for communication. We were able to visit the venue multiple times which was helpful to plan out specific details of the night. Jill was even present every time we visited the venue which was helpful because she was always able to answer our questions. There were no questions left unanswered and I felt prepared for my wedding. The night of the wedding Jill and all of the staff were tremendously helpful and made sure the entire night ran smoothly and on time. I even heard from several of our guests how great and friendly the staff was. This reassured me I picked such an incredible place to have my wedding. I felt supported by their entire team. We passed out cowboy hats at the end of the night and all the staff was wearing them. They even made the night so fun for me. I could not have asked for a better venue or team!

Stunningly beautiful location

From start to finish, we so enjoyed working with Navarre at the St. Joe Farm. Jill Svoboda was professional, detail-oriented, and incredibly organized - it really put us at ease about our event. On the day of, all of our guests raved and raved about how beautiful the farm was, in addition to the round barn. The food was incredibly delicious, too. We're so glad we worked with Jill and had an event at the farm - it will be a night we will always remember and love.

Beautiful location for a wedding!

St. Joe Farm was everything we could have hoped for and more for our wedding reception. First, the family who owns the farm and the staff were amazing to work with. They are super knowledgeable, communicative, and flexible. The Event Coordinator, in particular, helped us through every step of the planning process and was there to help everything run smoothly the day of the wedding. She acted as a point person for all of our vendors and coordinated everything perfectly. The Event Barn itself was incredible! It was a perfect space for our 160 guests. While we used the Event Barn for our cocktail hour and reception, there is also a smaller round barn we had the option of using and the grounds of the farm are perfect for guests to wander and enjoy. Additionally, there is a beautifully renovated Loft on the property which is beautifully restored and decorated. My family and I stayed there, and my bridesmaids and I got ready there the morning of the wedding. It was an amazing space to have for the week of the wedding! We could not recommend St. Joe Farm more highly.
