St. James is hands down one of my favorite wedding venues in Milwaukee! Kate and the entire St. James team go above and beyond to ensure every couple has a truly meaningful and unforgettable experience, from their first tour to their wedding day. As a live wedding painter, I absolutely love working at St. James! I've always been welcomed with open arms by the team, and they’re always there to lend a hand whenever I need anything. The venue is also incredibly versatile! I've seen several weddings take place in both The Abbey and The Hyde, yet each one feels uniquely tailored to the couple’s vision. Their attention to detail shines not only in the stunning atmosphere of the venue but also in the way they treat both vendors and clients. Whether it’s fellow vendors or past couples, everyone agrees that St. James offers a one-of-a-kind quality experience. It’s such a hidden gem that couples are even traveling from Chicago to celebrate their big day here!

We have not had our wedding reception at St James Abbey yet but after visiting this beautiful venue we have a secure date for 2022. Colleen and Kate couldn’t have been more helpful on our very informative tour and have continued to answer all our questions promptly. To date we have received the royal treatment and are looking forward to working towards our European Elegance Wedding.

St. James 1868 was a dream come true. The ceremony space- The Abbey was absolutely breathtaking. The space is so beautiful and elegant. Although it is a big space and can hold up to 500 people, our ceremony felt very intimate as Colleen and Kate set up the space perfectly. Colleen and Kate were both amazing to work with- their communication was impeccable and they made our vision a reality. St. James 1868 was everything I dreamed about and I highly recommend it to any couple that is looking for a beautiful, elegant, romantic venue!
