Spectrum Photography

It's difficult to respond because this review is from so long ago, so I hope it'll suffice to write that if Megan was disappointed, I was too. While I will never disavow myself of my work in the distant past, I hope all of us - regardless of the career - can say we have improved immensely over the course of 16 years.
Spectrum Photography is chiefly a one person operation - occasionally supplemented with a second photographer.

Jennifer was a family portrait client of mine. Regardless of who was right and who was wrong, I hate that she was unhappy with the outcome.
As with all clients, prices were shared in advance of the portrait session, and reviewed during the in-person presentation. She, as well as her other family members, seemed quite happy with the work when shown their pictures. And, while I believe I was polite and professional during our meeting, it's unfortunate my personal presentation was interpreted negatively. I apologize for this.
What complicated this interaction is that at no time during our in-person meeting did Jennifer point out any problem with the images - despite the fact that they were displayed on a 40" screen; also, she contacted me several months after I distributed the pictures to family members to give to her (I believe she lives in Wisconsin or Minnesota), and while I told her I was glad to make good on trying to fix a concern she had with one pose of the several from which she ordered (because a head swap was necessary for one of the very young children), neither I nor several other people who looked at the finished work were able to identify the problem area Jennifer had noted. I did make several attempts to correct the area I thought she was referring to and make new prints, but we ultimately agreed to leave the work as-is.
