Speakeasy on State is an elegant wedding event venue located in Redlands, California. This 4,000-square-foot loft showcases century-old brick, hardwood floors, beautiful chandeliers and a historic vibe that will impress your guests.
Facilities and Capacity Speakeasy on State boasts two elegant gathering rooms that each have their own distinct feel. The Columbia Room, a space that fully captures the historic feel of downtown Redlands, features exposed brick and mortar, natural lighting that shines through three massive double hung windows and beautiful chandeliers that capture the spirit of the 1800s. The Ballroom, a similarly historic space, features a vaulted ceiling, edison lights, the original ceiling fan and wall-to-wall sparkling wood floors.

Beautiful venue!! Has all the charm of Redlands in the 1920's and was a great central spot for our graduation party. Easy to get too and tucked away on central State Street. Everything is kept up beautifully!! Ariell was so helpful and enthusiastic. She was very easy to communicated with, ask questions and was very accommodating. It was so also very easy selecting vendors thru Ariells recommendations.

25th Wedding Anniversary!
My husband and I absolutely loved everything Speakeasy had to offer and loved our experience with this venue, by far our best experience ever! We had grown tired of trying to find the perfect venue for our 25th Wedding Anniversary after searching for almost 7months that we almost cancelled our event! Until we found Speakeasy and met Ariel 3 weeks before our event date on 2/19/22. Ariel was an absolute helpful, smart, caring business owner. Thanks to Ariel nothing went wrong and we enjoyed our day without a worry or lifting a finger on our special day and just spent the day with a lot of smiles , laughs, and a lot of champagne!

The Speakeasy is so versatile, and Ariell works so well with making your vision happen as it evolves through planning. She asks the right questions take sure you get what you want, and composes a list of vendors that will absolutely make your dream happen.

Dream Wedding
My husband and I just got married here (in December) and it was incredible! Our guests talk about how impressed they were with the food, staff and venue. Everything came together so beautifully. The staff there are very polite and accommodating. We worked directly with the owner, Ariell, and she handled it all amazingly! I would definitely recommend the Speakeasy on State for any event.

Nothing but the best
We had the most amazing wedding at the Speakeasy on State. Ariell and Katie were great to work with and made our day so easy for us to enjoy. Our guests even commented on how great the team was during our wedding. We are so lucky to have stumbled upon this absolutely amazing venue. We couldn’t be happier with our wedding.

The perfect venue!
Ariell & her team go above and beyond to make your planning process and day of event go absolutely smoothly. This venue has all its original charm with upgraded AMAZING air conditioning. From its natural wood floors, view of downtown redlands and little touches in the womens restroom of feminine products. Amazing vendors that work along side this team made it so easy to navigate our wedding planning. Day & Night I would ask our coordinator Katie questions and she was always quick to respond and be a helpful hand. All I had to do was drop off my decor prior to my wedding and the entire speakeasy team made my buckets of stuff into something so beautiful. I could cry x10 over again with how breath-taking it all was and I can even count with how many times I was approached about how beautiful the venue was, how amazing the decor came out and how helpful and kind the staff was. I won't be getting marriend again but I can see all major life events/parties happening at this wonderful venue!

If you’re thinking about using this venue, stop thinking and just book it. The location is perfect, the history behind is amazing, and the service offered supersedes anyone else.

My 50th birthday party
I had my 50th birthday party celebration here at the speakeasy on State. Ariel and her staff were great and helping us every step of the way before the party during the party and after the party. I selected my caterer and my bartender from a list of the vendors that they offered . I was very happy with them both the food was delicious and the bartender was just as amazing. Thank you so much to the speakeasy on State my 50th birthday was a success.

Amazing Venue!
My husband and I were married here on April 30, 2021, and we are so happy that we chose the Speakeasy on State! I visited so many different venues searching for the perfect one when I finally found this hidden gem in Redlands! Ariell, was able to meet with me the same day to show the venue and discuss pricing. I went with their all inclusive package and was so impressed with all of the vendors. Callie, the coordinator, was super helpful and attentive. She took so much stress off of me and allowed me to actually enjoy the wedding planning process. I will forever cherish the memories that were made here at the Speakeasy and wish that we could relive the night all over again! Thank you all for everything! 💕
