I fell in love with the venue when we saw it and on our wedding day it was everything I dreamed of in my wedding. Everyone was super super helpful Paula was amazing! Even though I was emailing and texting her with lots of questions. Their staff on the wedding day was amazing super attentive and helpful, our house mom we had was great and I didn’t catch the name of the lady helping me with my dress during our pictures and throughout the night. Hoping that for our 25 year or 50 year anniversary we will do it there. If I could give 10 stars I would. All our guest loved it also.

I cannot say enough positive things about this venue, its staff, and, of course, Paula! Our wedding day was truly perfect. The Homestead is magical, and everyone person who attended told us how beautiful they thought it was there. The service is unmatched. I never felt worried or stressed, as they handled everything. Their advance planning service is fantastic, Paula runs the day-before rehearsal like she could do this in her sleep, and all the vendors they work with our 5-star quality. If you are looking for a beautiful outdoor wedding space with an stress-free planning process and a highly relaxing wedding day where you never have to lift a finger: The Homestead is it. Truly the best and most beautiful day.

WOW. I sincerely can’t believe how much we lucked out finding the Homestead. This venue is a true stand-out in service, quality, and communication. If you want a stress-free, enjoyable, and memorable wedding experience, these are the people to go with! The whole Homestead team was so welcoming towards us from day one, even before we had officially booked. My fiancee and I had scoured online for wedding venues, but many of them were indistinguishable from each other. After seeing the Homestead’s pictures, I knew that this place would have the unique and vintage flair we were looking for. As soon as we finished our in-person tour with Lexi, we immediately got in the car and booked. There were SO many highlights of our planning experience (and actual wedding!), but I’ll put our favorites below:

The venue is in Oak Glen and gives the experience of being in the mountains without the drive all the way up! We got married in the summer and were so thankful for the altitude making the day a cooler temperature. The venue is STUNNING and has so many fun antiques and vintage decor that are perfect for photos. The “getting ready” spaces for the bride and groom are a great size and make for really fun photo opportunities as well. It was the perfect place for all of us to hang out beforehand. The ceremony space and reception space being next to each other was super convenient for guests. There are so many fun areas to explore, like the bar, fireplace, and back photo booth area (all filled with gorgeous foliage!). It feels like getting lost in a storybook!

They have multiple food options. We went with Tacos and Beer as our food vendor and it was some of the BEST Mexican food I’ve had. Everyone raved about it afterwards! They also offered vegetarian and vegan options for our guests with dietary needs. The Homestead also offers pie AND cake, which our guests loved for the variety! The pie was seriously the best that we’ve had, and we want to go visit the bakery again to take a full one home!

As far as decorations go, the Homestead offers adorable table decor, plateware, napkins, tablecloths, and more to choose from. They also have their own florist, who created beautiful bouquets for our special day. I loved being able to choose from their stock while still having the freedom to bring our own signs and photos (but really, they include nearly everything you need for the big day as part of their package). It made planning stress-free, which was very important to us in the whole process.

Lastly, the staff was INCREDIBLE. Lexi, Paula, April, and Monica have truly created something special here. They got back to us quickly with questions and were very helpful in reminding us of deadlines throughout the process. The team keeps you on track with all of the kindness and care that you would want for such a memorable day. They are total experts and have weddings down to a perfect science.

I truly believe this is THE PLACE to book. My wedding day could not have been more perfect, and I would rave about The Homestead for pages if I could. Thank you to everyone at The Homestead for what you do!

We had a lovely experience with the Homestead leading up to our wedding, and a BEYOND-PERFECT experience with them on the actual day of our wedding. We felt so cared for -- Paula and her fabulous staff are so competent, calm, and incredibly experienced. Just trust them to do what they do best! They offer great advice and really have it down to a science -- but they also are incredibly collaborative and creative, so you can work together to create an utterly unique wedding, if that's what you want. We also loved having access to their store of antique wedding decorations, which helped us create a perfect vintage boho aesthetic for our wedding. We had so many wedding guests come up to us on the day (and after) and tell us "This venue is phenomenal", to which we just had to reply, "We KNOW!" It's the personal touch from Paula that really elevated the place and made us feel special -- she had a great sense of humor and somehow managed to be both flexible AND impeccably organized. I would recommend The Homestead without reservation, because from its truly stunning environment (especially at magic hour!) to its delightfully charming decor to its kind and competent staff, you really can't do any better. We loved it and are SO glad we chose The Homestead for our big day!

I can’t say enough amazing things about the Homestead!! They have a beautiful, rustic venue with great prices and in house vendors that makes everything a whole lot stress free. Paula is wonderful, she gets things done, makes sure all of your wants are taken care of, and knows exactly what she’s doing! She also doesn’t put up with antics from guests which means you don’t have to worry about it on your big day! Our wedding day was the most amazing day and we were so blessed that we went with the homestead. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone!!

WOW!! You truly exceeded all expectations and we could not have been happier. It was truly a dream! We felt so taken care of since day 1. Our family and friends are still in awww as well!! Everybody is saying it’s their favorite wedding they have attended and your team seamless and professional. Can’t thank Lexi enough for giving us the best 1st tour. Paula you are a saint! Audrey, you were an absolute gem and I really enjoyed working with you on the bar set up Abe signature drinks. Your calculations were dead on! The drinks were phenomenal as well. Having Lisa as my “whisperer” for the day was the best experience. Lisa you made such a special impact on my biggest day and for that I can’t thank you enough. You took care of everything and made sure Carlos and I ate, made an appearance at the photo booth, had a cocktail in hand 😉 Found a lost charm within minutes... I could literally go on. Ps thank you for fluffing my dress throughout the photos post ceremony!! My photos are even more beautiful because of that!! The DJ absolutely KILLED it!! So many people danced and the only thing we would have changed would be to add another hour of dancing!! All of the songs sent to him were played perfectly. Our house mom for the morning to ceremony was so sweet. Constantly filling the water and juices, providing snacks and checking in on us regularly! Now flowers… again they were also perfect!! So beautiful, truly. And my bouquet smelled phenomenal as well. Thank you to the HomeStead family for your hospitality and ensuring we had the absolute best day of our lives!!
If you are searching for a venue, look no further, truly!! They provide everything you need really, I didn’t want to have to deal with a bunch of different vendors so that was a huge selling point for us personally and boy did it pay off.

If you’re looking for a venue that has a beautiful rustic vintage feel, allows you to not be overly stressed as a new bride, and supplies the best bunch of people to support you on one of the biggest days of your life, this is it. I cannot say enough about the things that The Homestead at Oak Glen provides. Let’s start with the views. If you haven’t been to Oak Glen, just take a ride up there and see for your self. It’s already a cute little town with some of the most beautiful views that you’ll ever see in Southern California but then you find this little venue kind of hidden away that just surprises you with not just a wedding venue, but also some historical stuff, and the most creative/unique general decor you’ll ever see.
Now my personal favorite: all inclusive. Never in my life did I sit there and think of what my wedding would be like nor did I want to have to do that. I know it’s weird but planning and being organized and overly stressed is not my thing. So, I scheduled an appointment to meet with Paula and that day decided this is where we were getting married. Yep, went to one venue and met one of the sweetest women I have ever met, saw some of the most adorable features in a wedding venue, and was told that I don’t have to make any decisions as far as decoration or center pieces, and booked my wedding. The barbecue food was amazing, the pies that we had in place of cake are still talked about by friends and family, the s’more‘s fire pit bar area was a perfect touch for a chilly night, and the dance floor was some thing I will never forget. My husband and I honestly talk about just wanting to go hang out there we love it that much! If you’re looking for an all inclusive venue that will make this an easy day, supply everything you need from decorations to who your DJ is, this is it. And you’ll gain new friends while you’re at it with Paula, Don, Lexi, and everyone else at The Homestead.

The Homestead was everything we could have imagined and more! They were SO helpful with planning and made the planning process a piece of cake! It was foggy yet so magical! I would fly out just to get my future daughter married there when it’s time! Absolutely stunning area as well! 10/10!!

If you want an all inclusive venue in a beautiful outdoor setting it doesn’t get better then The Homestead! They are so helpful & they’re attention to detail is amazing! They handle everything & on the day of your wedding all you need to do is show up & enjoy your day! ❤️

November Wedding and a COLD Snap! They brought out baskets of fleece blankets and heaters for the outdoor dinner reception. The wedding party preparation rooms were amazing! All the choices of decor were amazing! Wonderful Choice for our son’s Wedding!
