I fell in love with the venue when we saw it and on our wedding day it was everything I dreamed of in my wedding. Everyone was super super helpful Paula was amazing! Even though I was emailing and texting her with lots of questions. Their staff on the wedding day was amazing super attentive and helpful, our house mom we had was great and I didn’t catch the name of the lady helping me with my dress during our pictures and throughout the night. Hoping that for our 25 year or 50 year anniversary we will do it there. If I could give 10 stars I would. All our guest loved it also.

The BEST place to get married!!!!!
I cannot say enough positive things about this venue, its staff, and, of course, Paula! Our wedding day was truly perfect. The Homestead is magical, and everyone person who attended told us how beautiful they thought it was there. The service is unmatched. I never felt worried or stressed, as they handled everything. Their advance planning service is fantastic, Paula runs the day-before rehearsal like she could do this in her sleep, and all the vendors they work with our 5-star quality. If you are looking for a beautiful outdoor wedding space with an stress-free planning process and a highly relaxing wedding day where you never have to lift a finger: The Homestead is it. Truly the best and most beautiful day.

Perfect Wedding Day!
WOW. I sincerely can’t believe how much we lucked out finding the Homestead. This venue is a true stand-out in service, quality, and communication. If you want a stress-free, enjoyable, and memorable wedding experience, these are the people to go with! The whole Homestead team was so welcoming towards us from day one, even before we had officially booked. My fiancee and I had scoured online for wedding venues, but many of them were indistinguishable from each other. After seeing the Homestead’s pictures, I knew that this place would have the unique and vintage flair we were looking for. As soon as we finished our in-person tour with Lexi, we immediately got in the car and booked. There were SO many highlights of our planning experience (and actual wedding!), but I’ll put our favorites below:
The venue is in Oak Glen and gives the experience of being in the mountains without the drive all the way up! We got married in the summer and were so thankful for the altitude making the day a cooler temperature. The venue is STUNNING and has so many fun antiques and vintage decor that are perfect for photos. The “getting ready” spaces for the bride and groom are a great size and make for really fun photo opportunities as well. It was the perfect place for all of us to hang out beforehand. The ceremony space and reception space being next to each other was super convenient for guests. There are so many fun areas to explore, like the bar, fireplace, and back photo booth area (all filled with gorgeous foliage!). It feels like getting lost in a storybook!
They have multiple food options. We went with Tacos and Beer as our food vendor and it was some of the BEST Mexican food I’ve had. Everyone raved about it afterwards! They also offered vegetarian and vegan options for our guests with dietary needs. The Homestead also offers pie AND cake, which our guests loved for the variety! The pie was seriously the best that we’ve had, and we want to go visit the bakery again to take a full one home!
As far as decorations go, the Homestead offers adorable table decor, plateware, napkins, tablecloths, and more to choose from. They also have their own florist, who created beautiful bouquets for our special day. I loved being able to choose from their stock while still having the freedom to bring our own signs and photos (but really, they include nearly everything you need for the big day as part of their package). It made planning stress-free, which was very important to us in the whole process.
Lastly, the staff was INCREDIBLE. Lexi, Paula, April, and Monica have truly created something special here. They got back to us quickly with questions and were very helpful in reminding us of deadlines throughout the process. The team keeps you on track with all of the kindness and care that you would want for such a memorable day. They are total experts and have weddings down to a perfect science.
I truly believe this is THE PLACE to book. My wedding day could not have been more perfect, and I would rave about The Homestead for pages if I could. Thank you to everyone at The Homestead for what you do!

We are SO glad we chose The Homestead!
We had a lovely experience with the Homestead leading up to our wedding, and a BEYOND-PERFECT experience with them on the actual day of our wedding. We felt so cared for -- Paula and her fabulous staff are so competent, calm, and incredibly experienced. Just trust them to do what they do best! They offer great advice and really have it down to a science -- but they also are incredibly collaborative and creative, so you can work together to create an utterly unique wedding, if that's what you want. We also loved having access to their store of antique wedding decorations, which helped us create a perfect vintage boho aesthetic for our wedding. We had so many wedding guests come up to us on the day (and after) and tell us "This venue is phenomenal", to which we just had to reply, "We KNOW!" It's the personal touch from Paula that really elevated the place and made us feel special -- she had a great sense of humor and somehow managed to be both flexible AND impeccably organized. I would recommend The Homestead without reservation, because from its truly stunning environment (especially at magic hour!) to its delightfully charming decor to its kind and competent staff, you really can't do any better. We loved it and are SO glad we chose The Homestead for our big day!

The best EVER!!!
I can’t say enough amazing things about the Homestead!! They have a beautiful, rustic venue with great prices and in house vendors that makes everything a whole lot stress free. Paula is wonderful, she gets things done, makes sure all of your wants are taken care of, and knows exactly what she’s doing! She also doesn’t put up with antics from guests which means you don’t have to worry about it on your big day! Our wedding day was the most amazing day and we were so blessed that we went with the homestead. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone!!

WOW!! You truly exceeded all expectations and we could not have been happier. It was truly a dream! We felt so taken care of since day 1. Our family and friends are still in awww as well!! Everybody is saying it’s their favorite wedding they have attended and your team seamless and professional. Can’t thank Lexi enough for giving us the best 1st tour. Paula you are a saint! Thank you for all of your support during the process. You are very easy to work with and accommodating. Audrey, you were an absolute gem and I really enjoyed working with you on the bar set up Abe signature drinks. Your calculations were dead on! The drinks were phenomenal as well. Having Lisa as my “whisperer” for the day was the best experience. Lisa you made such a special impact on my biggest day and for that I can’t thank you enough. You took care of everything and made sure Carlos and I ate, made an appearance at the photo booth, had a cocktail in hand 😉 Found a lost charm within minutes... I could literally go on. Ps thank you for fluffing my dress throughout the photos post ceremony!! My photos are even more beautiful because of that!! The DJ absolutely KILLED it!! So many people danced and the only thing we would have changed would be to add another hour of dancing!! All of the songs sent to him were played perfectly. Our house mom for the morning to ceremony was so sweet. Constantly filling the water and juices, providing snacks and checking in on us regularly! Now flowers… again they were also perfect!! So beautiful, truly. And my bouquet smelled phenomenal as well. Thank you to the HomeStead family for your hospitality and ensuring we had the absolute best day of our lives!!
If you are searching for a venue, look no further, truly!! They provide everything you need really, I didn’t want to have to deal with a bunch of different vendors so that was a huge selling point for us personally and boy did it pay off.

If you’re looking for a venue that has a beautiful rustic vintage feel, allows you to not be overly stressed as a new bride, and supplies the best bunch of people to support you on one of the biggest days of your life, this is it. I cannot say enough about the things that The Homestead at Oak Glen provides. Let’s start with the views. If you haven’t been to Oak Glen, just take a ride up there and see for your self. It’s already a cute little town with some of the most beautiful views that you’ll ever see in Southern California but then you find this little venue kind of hidden away that just surprises you with not just a wedding venue, but also some historical stuff, and the most creative/unique general decor you’ll ever see.
Now my personal favorite: all inclusive. Never in my life did I sit there and think of what my wedding would be like nor did I want to have to do that. I know it’s weird but planning and being organized and overly stressed is not my thing. So, I scheduled an appointment to meet with Paula and that day decided this is where we were getting married. Yep, went to one venue and met one of the sweetest women I have ever met, saw some of the most adorable features in a wedding venue, and was told that I don’t have to make any decisions as far as decoration or center pieces, and booked my wedding. The barbecue food was amazing, the pies that we had in place of cake are still talked about by friends and family, the s’more‘s fire pit bar area was a perfect touch for a chilly night, and the dance floor was some thing I will never forget. My husband and I honestly talk about just wanting to go hang out there we love it that much! If you’re looking for an all inclusive venue that will make this an easy day, supply everything you need from decorations to who your DJ is, this is it. And you’ll gain new friends while you’re at it with Paula, Don, Lexi, and everyone else at The Homestead.

Beautiful Venue, Incredible Staff!!!
I had my wedding at The Homestead in September 2020. The venue is beautiful on its own and Paula assembled an incredible team to make the day perfect. I was blown away by how incredible the staff was. From the moment we arrived, there was someone to accommodate me and my husband with anything we might have needed. Prior to the wedding day, even with Covid rescheduling and multiple fires in the area, Paula and her team were very responsive and communicated with me and my husband to assure us that everything was going to work out. The wedding day was better than I imagined and all of our guests had a blast and were very impressed. You cannot go wrong with this venue!

Paula and staff are beyond words amazing! Honestly, look no further. If you are looking for a venue that provided everything but your dress then this is the place. Mountain Views and Sunsets
When my wife and I first visited The Homestead we fell in love immediately. Paula and her team could not have been more accommodating upon our first visit and when we learned that it was all inclusive for the caterer, dj, bartender, florist, and baker we jumped at the chance to get married there. It was well worth it. We had no idea of the trials and tribulations 2020 had for us and Paula and her team kept us in the loop throughout the year as to what was needed for us to be able to even hold the ceremony in a COVid-19 world. It went off better than expected! Once you arrive at the venue for your wedding you can leave any worries you have at the door. From Emilio the DJ to Chef Henry the caterer we were treated like the day belonged to us. Paula and her worker bees were helpful and patient in getting everything we needed not that we needed much since they thought of everything. There is a private Groom's cabin and a private Bridal cottage that had all the amenities you could need to get ready for your day of days. Located in the picturesque foothills of the San Bernardino Mountains amongst the apple orchards in Oak Glen it was a beautiful day for me and my bride. Also with the ceremony, cocktail, and reception areas all steps away from each other our guests complimented us on not only how convenient and well laid out the venue was but how efficient and seamless everything was as the evening progressed. I could go on about how wonderful it is but you should reach out to Paula and her team and find out for yourself. You will not be disappointed.

Best Venue Ever!!
I don't even know where to begin! I can't say enough positive things about the HomeStead to do it justice! The HomeStead was the very first venue we looked at and the only venue we looked at for a reason! From the moment we met Paula and she showed us the venue in its entirety, we immediately knew it was the one! The property alone is absolutely gorgeous! Paula, Don and the entire staff at The HomeStead made the entire process of planning a wedding so easy, enjoyable and fun! They literally did EVERYTHING for us from start to finish! Never were we overwhelmed or stressed with wedding planning, and we owe that all to them! They made the "Planning Day" at the venue so much fun! We got to meet all our vendors, try the food and get an idea of all the decor for the wedding day. Honestly, I put my trust completely in Paula and her team because everything they did was STUNNING and PERFECT! The HomeStead was always available to answer any questions throughout the process and their response time was very quick. The wedding weekend finally arrived and we didn't have to worry about a thing. From our rehearsal day to the actual wedding send off, everything was handled with care and professionalism. I couldn't believe how smooth everything went. The HomeStead added so much detail, love, and charm to our wedding that made it absolutely BEAUTIFUL! From the moment we arrived to get ready on the day of the wedding, our "house mom", Dina, was AMAZING and so caring to my entire bridal party. She took care of us and the guys from start to finish, with WHATEVER we needed! Honestly, I could go on for days about how wonderful The HomeStead is. We have heard nothing but positive feedback from all of our guests since the wedding and we have The HomeStead to thank for that! Everyone has told us, it was the BEST wedding they have ever been to. Where to start...The Homestead is the absolute, most perfect wedding venue and I'm so glad that I booked with them. I remember going to visit for a tour and when I arrived, my heart filled with joy and I couldn't stop smiling. My husband (fiancé at the time) already knew it was the one when he saw the look on my face & I knew I was right! With everything going on (COVID and the fires in Oak Glen), Paula, Lexi & The Homestead staff were there every step of the way making sure that I was updated with the latest news and making sure I stayed calm and relaxed before the big day. They answered all of my questions immediately and always emailed me whenever a slight change had to happen. I couldn't have asked for better coordinators, especially for my wedding! The day of was PERFECT. I can't even begin to put into words to explain how perfect my wedding was because of The Homestead. Paula, is freaking amazing...you seriously can't get any better than her. I am not kidding, I love her. Lexi is the sweetest and Don is quite the handyman. All of the little worker bees were so nice and made sure that I had no worries the day of. They made sure I was happy, well fed, and not stressed. I swear to you, I was NOT stressed that entire day. I was so happy and nervous, which was a given, but never ever stressed. I heard brides are normally freaking out because things weren't going the way they wanted...but not me, everything went according to planned and even better. Even if it didn't, I wouldn't have probably cared because that's how amazingly happy I was with Paula and The Homestead. Seriously, thank you thank you thank you! I'm extremely grateful for them and for meeting them. They seriously made the best day, THE BEST DAY. And the venue itself, beautiful and breathtaking. It literally gave off rustic vibes, which is what I aimed for. Friends and family still keep talking about how our wedding was the wedding of the year and the best venue they've ever been to. I hope any of my friends get married here because I would love to come visit and see the venue as a guest. If not, I'll just visit during my anniversary so it's a win-win situation regardless. :)

We had our special day on May 24, 2019 and it was perfect. The Homestead is such a beautiful venue with amazing staff. Paula and her husband are superb and so organized and detail oriented. The contracted partners (Michelle’s bakery in Redlands, Emilio the DJ, Haverland catering, and Nadine as the florist) are fantastic too. Wedding planning was so easy and stress free as they have their recommended partners and they work cohesively. All our guests loved the food! And kept saying how beautiful the venue was. Providing your own alcohol is also so much cheaper than a full bar option at other venues. The two separate, adorable cottages for the bridesmaids/bride and groom/groomsmen to get ready are perfect. The staff go above and beyond and put so much effort in personalizing and decorating whatever theme you envision. Paula has amazing recommendations and does everything possible to make your day run smoothly. For example, when our BevMo delivery for our alcohol was delivered somewhere else in Redlands, Paula was on the phone immediately and got it straightened out and the alcohol arrived just before the ceremony. We cannot say how much we love and recommend this place!

Best Day Ever!
I could not have chosen a better venue than The Homestead. This place exceeded expectations! Paula is the owner and let me tell you, she has it down to a T. She makes sure everything runs smoothly for you. It's pretty much all inclusive which makes things so much easier. Myself and my family didn't have to worry about setting up or taking things down, as the staff makes sure this all gets taken care of. People can't stop telling me how much they enjoyed my wedding and the venue. My flowers turned out beautiful which were done by Nadine, and the DJ Milo was a blast as well. My wedding was absolutely beautiful! I cannot thank everyone at The Homestead enough. You helped make our day so much more special!! Thank you!

This venue was the ABSOLUTE BEST! I cannot explain enough how wonderful the staff was and how great they were on the day of the wedding. Everything was done and timed out perfectly. Simply amazing!
The Homestead made our wedding day beyond amazing! We got married 9.9.18 and this is an overdue review. (Sorry!) Words can't describe how grateful we are for Paula and the whole team. The venue reflected our personalities and all our guests loved it! Few of my guests dreamed of getting married at Homestead. The wedding planning was easier than I expected because of their excellent work and accommodations with our schedules and preferences. Everyone are the best of what they do. My husband and I are very happy that we chose The Homestead and all its vendors. Dj Milo is such a fun and entertaining dj/host, Nadine is amazing with our bouquet and all other decors, Chef Henry and the Haverland crew did an incredible job with the food, Our wedding cake from Michelle's bakery was perfection, Lexi is such a nice person to work with that took care of our photobooth and did our first tour, and hands down to Paula for taking care of us throughout the entire wedding planning. They will let you decide on everything you want for your wedding but their suggestions are golden too. All of our questions via email were answered promptly. And to everyone else that we worked with on our wedding day that weren't mentioned, we are thankful for all of you. Wedding planning and preparation is already stressful, but we are blessed to pick The Homestead as our venue for it made our special day the best ever! We still dream about our wedding because Homestead is simply amazing!

The best wedding venue!
My husband and I searched high and low for our wedding venue and once we visited the homestead we knew that was it! It was our dream venue and all the staff there are amazing! They were super accommodating with any ideas we came up with for our big day and were so helpful! The day of, everyone there stayed on top of everything and made us feel very calm and able to enjoy getting ready. Everything they decorated looked beautiful. I wish we could get married there all over again!

Amazing venue and even better staff
Paula, Don and all of the Staff at the Homestead made our wedding a day even better than we could have imagined. Everything went smoothly as it got colder they seamlessly brought out heaters and kept the guests warm. Paula was wonderful and calm day of the wedding which really helped! We got so many compliments from guests of "best wedding ever" and we would have to agree. Thank you for making our special day so memorable! We can't wait to come back to area and visit!

Best day ever!
My now husband and I, ventured to The Homestead at the recommendation of one of his co-workers. When we walked onto the grounds, my breath was instantly taken away and I looked at him and said "this is where I'm going to marry you". It was beautiful, and serene, and that's just the beginning! Paula and her crew are AMAZING. They take care of everything and make it all seem effortless. Everything was handled, exactly like we wanted and our day was perfect. Everyone that came to our wedding had nothing but wonderful things to say and my family raved about the day. Paula is organized, efficient, and she truly cares about her brides. It is not an exaggeration, when I say everything was flawless and we had the perfect day. My only grievance, is that the day actually had to end. If you're looking for a venue that is beautiful, if you want the day to be stress free and lovely, and if you want to be able to savor each moment of your wedding, then go with The Homestead; you will not regret it!

Blown Away
The HomeStead made my perfect wedding day come true. If you are looking for a place that you can truly feel confident that everything will turn out beautiful this is the place you should book with. The venue is beautiful all on its own without even having the wedding decor up. You truly feel the beauty of nature and it’s a little piece of heaven in Southern California. Once you book with them you go in for your appointment to talk about music, food, decor, flowers, photo booth, etc. They are so open to listening to whatever you want and truly giving you the perfect day.
The day of the wedding I could not have felt more like a princess. Everyone is asking you what you need and genuinely ready to help with whatever you may ask for. I love that there is only one wedding a day there and they can truly focus on just your wedding. I am so thankful for Paula and all of the staff for making the whole wedding planning process so easy for me. I was blown away by how beautiful everything was and wish I could relive that day over and over again.
If you are thinking about booking with them, try to go out to one of their open houses and I guarantee you will fall in love with it.

Dream Wedding!
Our experience with Paula and her staff at The Homestead was amazing!! They all brought my dream wedding to life and no one in my family or wedding party had to lift a finger the day of the wedding. Everything went smoothly and exactly how my husband and I wanted it. I 110% recommend this venue!! It is absolutely gorgeous!! You will NOT be disappointed!!!

AMAZING! I got married here less than a week ago and was so amazed with this place from start to finish I had to leave this review ASAP. Paula and her team are awesome. They are quick to reply to emails, answering any and all questions, and really do have your dream wedding all ready to go by the time you arrive. The wedding planning was the easiest thing to do. The venue speaks for itself...IT IS BEAUTIFUL! We have gotten non-stop compliments about the entire day. If you are looking for a gorgeou venue, awesome staff, amazing food, perfect music and a unique wedding your guests will talk about for years, PLEASE go see Paula at The HomeStead!

My wedding was perfect! The HomeStead staff went above and beyond to make our wedding the best experience for the wedding party and the guests. The day of the wedding, the staff checked in with the bridal party and I to make sure we had everything we needed. They provided snacks and drinks for us which was very thoughtful. There was one staff member that helped me the entire day, she was there whenever I needed anything. She said kind words to help me relax before the ceremony, she helped with my complicated bustle, she brought my husband and I drinks the entire wedding, she helped get me my garter when I forgot to put it on, she was awesome.
The florist brought my vision to life, I was stunned walking out to the reception. They took all my ideas into consideration and made it very special and unique to our taste. Their vendors are awesome! The cake was delicious! And the music was so good! Emilo (DJ Milo) was awesome! I highly recommend getting him.
I highly recommend this venue! Their quality service to us was amazing.

We were absolutely ecstatic about finding this venue. It was the last venue we visited but the one that made the best impression. Paula was professional, down to earth, and experienced when we toured the venue and we were eager to book it for the following year. They were booked up almost a year in advance so we were lucky we went at our ideal time of Fall. If you want a Fall wedding, definitely consider the HomeStead. Oak Glen is comfy and beautiful and October/November is ideal for this venue. They are connected with great vendors. The food by Haverland catering was highly spoken of by our guests. The hair stylist (Sumer Valdivia) recommended by Paula was amazing. We got a tent in case of rain from All Occasion Rentals, which was definitely wonderful (even though it didn't rain) because of how freezing it was that night. We got married on November 5th. Nadine, the florist, is the BEST. I couldn't have dreamed of better flower arrangements. She was open to all of my requests and the final result was amazing! She used her expertise to make what I wanted even better. The DJ (Milo) was so accommodating to my crazy detail orientedness in regard to music and met every ridiculous request of mine. Michelle's bakery that they work with is delicious and the tasting was so much fun. The best part of working with the HomeStead for us was the staff. They took care of everything. They boxed my favors when they were delivered half way through the wedding, they made the day feel non stressful and wonderful. You know how a lot of people looking back on their wedding say, I wish we would've had a small simple wedding in Vegas and saved the stress? Well I definitely do not. Not only were we impressed but our guest were as well! All everyone said to us all night was “how did you find this place it’s so beautiful”. Every little detail was gorgeous and personal and my husband and I didn’t have to worry about a thing we just showed up and had the most memorable night of our lives. I can't explain how impressed I was with how our special day came together. This venue had everything running perfectly, I never had a worry in the world on that special day!!! My guests were also overly complimentary of the service they received as guests and of the sights and scenes of this gorgeous place! If I could I would do it all over again! It was a painless planning process and I couldn't have asked for anymore. My wife and I are actually in the process of sending out each person who worked that night a thank you gift. I wish I could hug them all!

Perfection!!!!! When we first set foot on this amazing property we knew we wanted to get married here, and then we met Paula and April and that sealed the deal! These ladies and their staff are outstanding! They made every part of our wedding absolutely perfect! They take care of everything...and I mean everything! I did not have to worry about a single thing on our wedding day!
My husband and I talk about our wedding every day! Everything ran smoothly and there is not a single thing we can complain about! The attention to detail that went into our day was amazing.
When my bridesmaids and I arrive the morning of the wedding, they had snacks and water for us in the cottage which was very nice! I was able to go outside before my husband got there and see everything as it was being set up! It was beautiful!
Nadine the florist is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet!!! She did an amazing job with all of the flowers, one of my favorite things she did was make a flower crown for the flower girl. She also helped with all the decorating and the venue looked like a pinterest picture! It was beautiful!
Milo (Emilio) the DJ is fantastic! We gave him a list of our main songs (walking down isle, first dance, etc) and gave him free range on all other music for dancing and the whole night! He had our ceremony songs ready for the rehearsal which was wonderful so we were able to practice with the music. Our reception was so much fun and everyone danced the night away thanks to him!
Our catering was through Haverland Catering, yum! The food was outstanding and we've received so many compliments on how it was not typical wedding food, it was so so so much better!
Law's Coffee shop provided apple pie for dessert and a cake for cutting purposes only. Our guests love that apple pie a la mode was served instead of traditional cake.

I don't even know where to start with this review. The Homestead at Wilshire Ranch is hands down, AMAZING. The moment I drove into the parking lot I knew this was going to be THE place. We were greeted by Paula's husband (who did an incredible job with the buildings and structures there). He helped walk us around and explained the history behind the place until Paula was able to meet us. She was very patient with us while walking us around and explaining how everything works. After our walk around she took us into the grooms cabin to discuss the details and open availability. We took the first available date possible, 15 months out. During those 15 months all the staff was amazing at answering all my annoying questions, and being timely about it. Whatever we needed they were on top of it all! They really worked with us on everything. The day of the wedding was pure bliss. All the staff was friendly and helpful and did a spectacular job. I literally couldn't have asked for a better wedding day and if I could do it all over again I'd pick the Homestead every time.

Many of our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to, and I honestly believe its because of how detail oriented, professional, fun and quirky the Homestead is. I can't even explain how amazing and effortless Paula and her team at the Homestead made our wedding. It was a pretty hectic morning. When we arrived our daughter broke our cake topper! I was so upset, but Paula totally fixed it and I ensured me not to even think about it or stress over it. She was totally right! You couldn't even tell. My husband and I also changed our first dance song the day of the wedding and they totally accommodated. I loved how personal they made our wedding. Every nook and cranny of the venue had a special piece of us. All of our guests commented how it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended. The food was amazing and I loved the photo booth. We had a lot of kids at our wedding and they really loved the smores. I had some pretty interesting requests and Paula and her team totally made them all happen. I honestly couldn't be happier!

The Homestead is amazing, all of these reviews testify to that. Every single little detail you could ever think of and then MORE is what Paula and her staff will do for you! Nadine who is the florist is out of this world. Paula is awesome! She will regulate people and make things happen! Its seriously something that I appreciated. Paula is very generous and considerate. Many ideas that we had that were not normal for the venue we were allowed to do. We just brought in the stuff and they did all the rest, and I couldn't have imagined it looking any better. My hero of my wedding day, who I felt was my very own Mary from the wedding planner, was Amy or Aimee? I don't know but she rocks!!! Every time I turned around she was there to help me with something. I had a bustle that just kept falling and she was always down there putting it right back up. She helped manage my bug situation within the layers of my dress, fix my hair, take off my shoes so on and so forth! If I didn't know what to do, she was there to lead me in the right direction. She is God sent and such an amazing, compassionate, and beautiful human being who will always hold a very special place in my heart. The only thing that I didn't like that really bothered me was the song choices by the DJ. Who is fantastic, and very funny. But I had asked for a very short list of songs (8 )that I had sent before hand that were very important to me. Maybe 1/2 of them actually got played. If a song came on he WOULDNT change it. Needless to say me and my husband were able to dance together twice. Because those were the only slow songs played. Literally the 1st dance and the last dance were slow and that was it. It made me feel like I wasn't given the opportunity to have those slow moments with my husband to take it all in and was in tears at one point because of this. Other than that everything was perfection. THANK YOU ALL!

This venue helped pull together the wedding I had dreamt about for so long. It was absolutely beautiful and it felt so "home-like". The staff is very friendly and they also make you feel right at home. The day ran so smoothly and they kept things flowing. My guests were all pleased with the outcome of the wedding and were all in complete awe with the surroundings of the mountains and trees. I would definitely recommend this venue to everyone!

Gorgeous venue and wonderful staff! From decor to dinner and everything in between, each vendor that this venue provides were absolutely accommodating and sweet! They brought ease to all of my questions and made me feel like everything was going to be perfect! They executed my vision and made sure to return anything we brought at the end of the night!
If getting married on a Thursday, I would suggest looking into buying an additional hour for the reception (if at all possible). By time we took pics, cut the cake, etc... we danced what seemed like 30 mins with our guests haha! An extra hour to walk around and talk to guests would have been ideal.
At the end of the day they will make sure your day is the best! And you can't beat the gorgeous landscapes this place provides! Having a one-stop venue that includes just about everything is worth it!

I would tell the couple that is thinking of getting married here to book it asap!!!! Paula and her staff were so helpful every step of the way. Once i told them that we wanted to have a harry potter wedding, they were so excited! They even came up with their own ideas to make my harry potter wedding come alive! On the day of our wedding, they made sure that everything was perfect for us. The staff also made sure we were happy throughout the wedding and made sure we had everything that we needed. The food was amazing, along with being surrounded by nature! It was truly a beautiful venue. Without their ideas and creativity, i wouldn't have had the perfect Harry Potter wedding!

The Homestead was the perfect venue for us! I cannot recommend them enough. The all inclusive feature of this venue took 1,000% of the stress and work off of us. I love the fact that when I think about my wedding day it was absolutely the perfect day; I showed up and got dressed and got married! My girls and I arrived early to our cottage. Our "house mom" provided us with snacks and drinks, and made sure we were happy and relaxed. Getting ready, and sneaking peeks of the progress of the ceremony decorations was fun. My friends, family, and bridal party didn't have to lift a finger for our big day. Paula and staff, set up the ceremony, reception, decorations, food, dessert, bar, d.j, delicious food, and clean-up. Nadine, the flowers were amazing. We have received so many compliments from guests. We had our wedding on a Sunday, so the ceremony start time is 3:30. Reception from 4:30-8:00. The reception went by so fast, and because we had 150 guests we barely had time to say hello to everyone. I wish that we either a)cut down our guest list or b)bought more hours so our reception would last longer. If we did option 'b' our ceremony time would be pushed back to 2:30, then 1:30 and so on, but the reception would always end at 8 (on a Sunday night, it's 9pm for Friday and Sat night). Either way, we knew this when we bought the package, but just a heads up for others that if you are dreaming of a long, all-nighter ceremony, this is something to keep in mind.

Paula and the entire team at The Homestead are nothing short of AMAZING!!! We were married on November 19, 2016 and it was perfect! Since the venue is all inclusive the planning process is so easy! Perfect for someone like me who is pretty easygoing and not a huge planner. The day of was perfect and not a single thing can be complained about. My "house mom" (I'm sorry but I can remember her name :/) was awesome and super sweet! The flowers/centerpieces that Nadine put together were gorgeous! Our DJ was Milo and he was great too!! The food was from Haverland's catering and so delicious! The entire day everyone kept telling us how amazing/cool/unique the venue was and I can't agree more! I was super nervous before walking down the isle but Paula told me a joke about a peanut walking across the street and being assulted and made me laugh and eased my nerves :) They are all just the best!! It was honestly the absolute best wedding and I can't say enough good things about everyone!!

We got married septet 25th of this year and this was hands down the most beautiful venue I have ever seen. The homestead was the first place me and my husband looked at and from the moment we walked up the pathway and met with Paula we instantly knew this was going to be the place. (Detail is everything when it came to this venue) As we drove up it was as if we turned a corner and ended up in a secret garden, the views are breathtaking. Paula and her staff do an amazing job on the grounds year round and it truly keeps the beauty of this place alive. The homestead is an all-inclusive wedding venue and it caters to basically any brides wishes for a dream wedding. You literally can pick and choose anything you want, we were able to have the DJ, the flowers, the baker, and the caterer all from here. They even work with you on a month-to-month payment plan with a small down payment to hold your spot. The staff treat you like they are part of your family and are attentive and make everything about your day about you. Each person I met I could tell had such a drive and a passion for the job that they do and It really shined through them. It just was more then I ever thought I could want for my wedding day.. and I am truly thankful that I was able to have this experience at the homestead and with Paula and her staff .

I got married here 11/6/2016 and I can honestly say it was the BEST day of my life. Everything was absolutely perfect down to the little details of the succulents in the tea cups. I could not have dreamed a better day and the homestead really made that day for me. I am so pleased with the outcome of the wedding and venue and so we're my guests. They are still complimenting me on how beautiful the day was! I wish I could go back a million times and relive the moment because it was everything I have ever dreamed of and more! Highly recommend this place to anyone that wants a rustic/vintage/outdoor wedding! My heart is sooo full!

Wedding Perfection! The BEST decision I made during the planning process was choosing the Homestead as my venue. From the venue, the catering, DJ & Florist, everything was done with so much attention to detail and pride. Paula and her husband Don truly know how to run a venue and know everything to make the bride and groom feel special on their day.
I have been in several weddings and each one of them required some work from the bridal party the day of. Not at the Homestead. We literally dropped off our decorations (you really don't need much since Paula has plenty you can borrow), alcohol and any miscellaneous items the day before. Then on the day of we just showed up, sipped on champagne and got ready. I didn't have to lift a finger! I have NEVER been to a wedding that was like that!
The venue itself is completely stunning! Every guest that I talked to wouldn't stop gushing about how it was the most beautiful wedding and venue they have been to. That says a lot of as some of my guests have been to over the top, ridiculously expensive weddings.
Honestly, checking out this venue and NOT booking it would be a huge mistake. I looked at 30 plus venues in So Cal and Central Cal and this was hands down, by far the best option. Not to mention, it's a "one-stop" shop which will lesson the stress while planning!
I would give this venue 10 stars if I could!!!

Our experience at The HomeStead was unforgettable! Our son and daughter-in-law were married there and our feeling is that it couldn’t have been a more perfect day. Before the wedding, Paula had lots of resources and ideas to share. She accommodated the wishes of our kids to customize their day, just for them. On the day of the wedding, we were able to use the Groom’s Cottage and the Bride’s House for the guys and girls all day, which was perfect. Throughout the day, the staff would show up with a snack or a drink just at the right moment. During the reception, Rick was an awesome DJ! He was funny and kept the party moving! He didn’t miss a beat. At one point, when we were in between taking pictures and serving the dinner, he played a funny “shoe” game that everyone got a big kick out of. April and Paula made us all feel so at ease! No matter what, they just smiled and said, “Everything’s ok. Take a deep breath. You’re doing great...” They really helped us to relax and enjoy the day. The gorgeous mountain backdrop and all the little extra touches that Paula and Don have added over the years made it a magical experience that we will never forget. As a videographer working with the venue staff is crucial. After filming two weddings here all I can say is WOW! The staff is always extremely helpful to our film crews needs. The location is always a great place to shoot and has amazing ambience. Looking forward to many more shoots here!

My daughter & son-in-law were married at The Homestead this past August. Paula & her amazing team made the day perfect. I can't even begin to tell you all the little extras that she took care of. As the mother of the bride, it was so nice to be able to relax & enjoy my daughter's wedding & know that everything would be taken care of. The venue is incredible - we've gotten so many compliments when people see pictures. It was so much more affordable than any of the venues we visited & we'll worth twice what we paid. The Homestead staff made our big day an absolute dream. It's been 3 months and people are STILL raving about how beautiful of a venue it was. Wow! Just, wow! My fiance` and I had our engagement dinner party at The Homestead and it was the most magical evening either of us could have hoped for. The location is something that looks straight out of a movie, the gorgeous canyon at sunset and lush surroundings set the perfect tone for a night that we could only have dreamed of. The staff is fabulous and had a big smile the entire time. Paula and Don, the owners, saw to it that every detail was flawless the entire evening and were constantly making sure all of our guests were happy. The decor done by Nadine, one of their preferred vendors, was breathtaking!! She certainly added the perfect touches with her attention to detail. And I can't forget the food. YUM. Their in house caterers, Henry and Margie Haverland, made a meal that our family and friends are still raving about!

Our wedding at the Homestead was better than anyone could expect. Paula and Tiffany were easy to work with and knew how to put together a great wedding. It was well organized, and really took the traditional stress of a wedding off of our shoulders so we could enjoy the day. The grounds are amazing, the staff and vendors were all perfect, the food was amazing as well as the cake, and the ceremony itself was run perfectly. For the price, you will not find anything better guaranteed. I only wish weddings didn't go by so fast!

We had her wedding at the Homestead June 24, 2017. When I was looking for my venue my only criteria was to be in the wood and something about me just to attend my wedding. I wanted a stress free wedding that required minimal planning on my part, and that is exactly what I got at the homestead! My entire wedding was basically planned and one afternoon, we met with the DJ, the florist, The caterer and the coordinator all in one afternoon!!! The staff at the Homestead was wonderful, Nadine the florist is so talented and is able to create any centerpiece table Decor you imagine! April, Paula, Amie are all amazing and are all there to assist you with whatever you want me to make your wedding day perfect. I cannot say enough good things about the Homestead. I never though I would enjoy my wedding day as much as I did (I expected to be stressed, worried about last minute details, etc) but Paula and her team did such an amazing job taking care of things that I could not have been happier. The location is stunning, the food from Haverland catering was truly excellent, our florist Nadine was so skilled and generous (and just a lovely person), and our DJ really Emilio worked with our weird requests to make for a really fun evening. Moreover, all the coordinators, were extremely helpful both leading up to the day and on the day of. They went way out of their way to help (setting up decorations tailored to us, bringing the bridal party appetizers and drinks while we took photos, helping me re-bustle my dress when it needed it, etc.) Our guests have all told us how much fun they had. I never though I would be able to have this beautiful of a wedding at this price point. We went with the apple pie option from Laws Bakery instead of the cake from Michelle's, and we were so glad we did. The pie was incredible. Probably the only thing that was slightly inconvenient was needing to make the final payment in cash; it was hard to track down our final number in time to know how much to withdraw from an ATM. We would also have benefited from a few more high chairs for tiny guests. But everything else was a breeze. I could not imagine a more beautiful day. Thank you, Don, Paula, & Team!!!

Make sure you book as soon as possible, as they do book up quick! (Gee I wonder why!) This venue is absolutely amazing, and it worked especially nice for my husband and I since we were long distance our entire engagement and he was not able to constantly be available to help make decisions. With The Homestead, you set up one planning day during their off season, and meet with all the different vendors to plan out your special day. I honestly had to put so little work into my wedding because they have everything done to a science there. We had our wedding at The Homestead the summer of 2015. It was amazing and we couldn’t have asked for anything better!! We both knew this was going to be our wedding venue the first time we saw it. It is so cute, rustic, charming, and the list could go on and on.
Paula was the best, she and her team did everything (and were friendly and helpful)…DJ, flowers, setup, clean up, decorations, food, photo booth, cake…Everything!! Everyone kept telling me that I was the calmest bride they had ever seen; but I had nothing to really worry about because they took care of everything. The ceremony and reception went off so smoothly with no issues. The décor they have all around was exactly what we had envisioned, and the location is perfect. It has great views of the mountains and plenty of shady trees and greenery.
Just a little insight into the planning process. You get to go up and meet separately with the DJ, florist, caterer, and Paula. Rick was our DJ and he was great! He played a good variety of music and kept the flow of the night going. Nadine was our florist, what a sweet lady. We weren’t really picky about our flowers so we let her kind of have at it, and she did great!! Haverland did our catering, and the food was so good! My husband and I got 2 plates of food to eat during the wedding, and they packed to-go boxes for us to eat afterward.
We had our rehearsal the evening before and were able to bring up all of our extra decorations and things, which took away a lot of the stress of forgetting something the morning of.
We had a wonderful wedding at the Homestead, and would do it all over again if we could. Our wedding was perfect and everything we could have dreamed of. We would definitely recommend The Homestead to any newly engaged couple!!

When my husband and I went to visit this venue for the first time, we fell in love with not only the beautiful venue, but with the ease we felt planning our wedding there as well as the flexibility of the owners Paula & Don. They were open to our more diy approach as we weren't the run of the mill couple and took into consideration our crazy ideas (VReality Station & our own wall photo frame booth). Although it was hard to get ahold of Paula at times, her assistants were very helpful in answering questions we had in emails (and we had a lot!). Most of all, everything that's included with the Homestead is such a plus and the vendors that they've chosen such as the cake, dj, florals & food were top notch! Nadine worked with me to give me my dream flowers (unlike the usual sunflowers most other brides want) and the centerpieces went beyond my expectations. The food was also bbqed on site and you could tell by how moist the meat was and the cake is still one of the best we've ever tasted. Dj Milo really knew how to pull it all together and honored all of our requests knowing that we were particular about what songs we liked. Most dj's at other weddings play horrible music and just don't have the presence he does. I can truly say that all our guests were wowed by everything and this is being modest about it! I don't think i've ever experienced a group of people work together so well. Besides a few hiccups on our wedding day, we had the most memorable, beautiful & fun wedding!

My husband and I got married at the Homestead a couple of weeks ago. Paula and her team are amazing. They truly made our wedding day so special. The food was fantastic, the staff was so professional, and the decor and flowers were beautiful! I highly recommend this venue.

We knew The Homestead was the one when we first saw it, and during their open house, it reassured us even more that it was perfect for us! The Homestead is every brides dream come true. It’s a one stop shop for all the things you would need the most, catering, flowers, decorations, photo booth, music, and even the cake. We can honestly say our wedding did not even stress us out, and if the brides happy, everyone’s happy. Their responsiveness is great, email worked for us best, but immediate questions were answered with a simple phone call and an occasional message, but they would return your call that same day. The Homestead made sure that everything ran smoothly from the morning of our wedding to the end. Our family and friends had nothing to say but beautiful things, and share with us nothing but amazing pictures! Thank you Homestead for making the beginning of our journey an unforgettable one!

Everything thing was perfect! Paula was amazing and did a fabulous job handling everything that was given to her. Our guests were so impressed with our venue, and are still talking about how perfect everything was. We couldn't have asked for anything more!

I had my wedding at the Homestead this past July. It was perfect. I couldn't have asked for s better night! They really do have everything covered which allowed me to just enjoy the evening. My guests continue to comment on how beautiful Ian's amazing the venue and the staff were each one of the vendors was incredible too! They are such down to earth people that have high quality work. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat!

This was the best venue for our wedding. They did all the hard stuff for us and really took the stress off our shoulders. The whole staff was very friendly and highly focused on our big day. Our wedding was flawless thanks to The Homestead. I've had multiple friends, family, and guests tell me and my mom that it was of the best most beautiful and fun wedding they've been too, and I thank The Homestead and the people there for that.

Our wedding at the Homestead was absolutely amazing! Paula, Don, and the Homestead staff go above and beyond to make your wedding day a dream come true. Every detail was in place and we were able to enjoy the day of our wedding knowing that everything would be perfect.
One thing that was stressful in the months leading up to our wedding was getting ahold of Paula because she is so busy, but seeing her work during our wedding showed why. She makes sure every bride leaves happy.

Great service at a great price! Paula takes care of literally everything. For a bride who is doing her wedding from a different state, this venue is so helpful and gets rid of a lot of my stress!

The venue of our dreams!
We just had our wedding at The Homestead and couldn’t have been happier! It was the wedding day of our dreams. Paula: she was so on top of everything at the rehearsal and on the day of, my family and bridal party really appreciated her thoroughness. She also was so accommodating to any requests we wanted for our wedding day! She and her workers spent so much time setting up our seating chart in such a beautiful way I would have never thought of. We had so many additional things planned for our wedding but she and her team made it all happen and run smoothly too! She even decked out our cake with our personal decorations using her creative judgement and it looked so cute 🥰. Email correspondences took some time to get replies, but texts and phone calls were promptly answered! DJ Milo: was a great MC and DJ. I was a little worried he wouldn’t play the songs we requested, as friends had that issue with different djs at their weddings, but every song was one we had asked for! Which really helped create the vibe we were looking for on our wedding day. He also flawlessly looped songs when some activities ran a bit too long. Haverland catering: the food was delicious and the portions were HUGE! I didn’t hear any complaints about being hungry. Desserts: pie and cake were both included in the package! And we had so much left over which was great because I wasn’t really able to eat much on the actual wedding day. They also let us bring macarons for an extra dessert table, and set it all up for us! Photobooth and late night treat: the guests always had something to do! Even if they weren’t interested in the dance floor. There was also areas to sit and talk peacefully away from the music. Bride whisperer: I even forgot about this until the day of the wedding! But I had an attendant with me the whole time to hold onto my bouquet when needed, get me water or drinks or food, and help me with my 3 costume changes 🫨. Dora: was so helpful in the girls cottage in the morning! Checking up on us every 15 minutes. And when the flower girl petals did not match the color scheme of the event, she and Paula went to get different petals. They really cared about all the little details! Florals: the flowers and table settings were beautiful, although not exactly what I was expecting. We had discussed moss for the tables but did not end up having it on the day of. Not a big deal, and the guests all thought the florals were beautiful. Bar Tender: was amazing! This venue is so good because it is BYOB. We were able to have 3 signature cocktails and she helped me to create the recipes and buy the proper amounts of ingredients. I was texting her back and forth making changes and tweaking the recipes until it was just right! She was always very responsive. The guests loved the drinks! The venue: speaks for itself, it is so beautiful! Our guests did not understand why we were getting married in Oak Glen, but once they were there they all understood. Also, when we booked the venue I was not thinking of this but it is ADA accessible. I ended up getting injured and needing knee surgery before the wedding so having an accessible venue was a great plus!

Paula and her team did an amazing job to make our wedding absolutely perfect. Our wedding was everything I hoped for and more. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for an beautiful spot with tons of character, charm, and elegance. Absolutely stunning! Not to mention the professionalism made everything flow perfectly so I didn't have any worries on the day of, just got to enjoy my day!

If you want an easy, stress free, beautiful, nature filled wedding this is the venue for you!
Our wedding was June 24th, 2017 an overall perfect wedding. ( I might be a little biased) The one thing I wanted most was to "attend my wedding", I didn't want the months of stress and planning. So we choose The Homestead, and never looked back!
The wonderful staff had every detail under control! We put our faith and just let the professionals take care of our big day! And we couldn't imagine it any other way!
It literally only takes 1 day to plan 95% of your wedding, you meet with all the vendors including the talented florist Nadine, she is so kind and willing to do whatever it takes to obtain your vision! You meet with the caterer, coordinator and the DJ, all in the same day! It's really an amazing process, (take their advice and don't bring your entire family, we only came to the planning day just get two of us, and it was so fun and intimate)
The other reviews are correct they aren't the best at returning emails usually takes 5-7 days to respond, but in all honesty they have everything under control and give you all the information upfront! so, just TRUST the process and put your faith in Amie, Paula, and April and let them create your dream wedding.
There are so many details that make your wedding unique and special, your guest will appreciate the organization and little details already at The Homestead!

I got married at the Homestead in November of 2014 and picking this venue was the best planning decision I made. Once I booked the homestead everything was so easy I used all their in house vendors (except for the cake) and everyone was wonderful! Paula coordinated everything and was always easy to reach and accommodating to anything I needed. I would send their team different ideas and pictures and they made it come to life. I highly recommend Haverland Catering their food was DELICIOUS! And the in house florist made my Vision come to life and set everything up for me the day of I could not thank her enough. The DJ was very entertaining as well. When they say the wedding planning process is stressful and the day of your wedding is stressful I never felt any of that thanks to the Homestead and all their wonderful vendors!

When looking for a wedding venue, I had an idea in my mind of what I wanted. I knew I wanted something rustic/country style but still elegant. The Homestead at Whilshire Ranch in Oak Glen was the second venue (first venue that my husband saw) that we visited, I knew right away this was it. I scheduled a tour which Paula and her team were more accommodating with. The date we picked for our wedding was July 1, 2017; although I was looking more for a spring wedding, this was the first saturday available (as we booked in June of 2016). Although it was in the summer it was nothing but perfect, also if you're worried about weather booking here in the summer time... the weather was gorgeous!!!
Fast forward to our wedding...I can honestly say it was nothing short of perfection...all of mine and my husbands ideas came to life with the help of Paula and the entire team and on our big day I can honestly say I did not have a worry in the world and was beyond excited. I popped out to the ceremony and reception site a few times and as it was coming together; I was amazed at how beautiful it was put together and the attention to every last detail. Our "house mom" was so sweet and always making sure we were ok and bringing us anything we needed and as far as I heard (and saw in photos) the guys had a great time getting ready too. This day was a day I will never forget and Paula and the entire team made our perfect day possible and better than I could have ever imagined!!! Thank you again!!!

Paula and the entire staff at the Homestead were fantastic in helping us make our day amazing. The venue is a beautiful, dream-come-true location. We could not have found a more gorgeous location for our ceremony and reception. The whole day from arrival to clean up was fantastic. The staff was constantly there to make sure we had everything we needed from water and refreshments to solutions to last-minute problems. The venue packages includes a DJ service that was amazing! Rick made our whole reception flow well and really captured the feel we wanted. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking for an outdoor ceremony/reception.
